Hidden Gems: Meet Liudmyla Gordiienko of Travel4Everyone

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liudmyla Gordiienko.

Hi Liudmyla, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been working in hospitality for over 16 years. I worked in different states and places, but it was always special for me when I had a chance to organize vacations for my family and friends. I could use my organizational skills and use my knowledge, learning a lot during the process. in 2020, I had a baby and was looking to start working from home to spend more time with my baby. At that time, Covid -19 hit hard the travel industry. Still, I decided to take this as an opportunity to learn more about it and educate myself about destinations, booking engines, etc. it was fun, and I loved the process. In 2021, the world started to open up, and people were so eager to start traveling that we started getting busy very soon and constantly growing. There’s a big demand for travel advisors even though many people still prefer to book alone, not realizing that TA costs little. They are still paying commission because it is included in any package, hotel, etc., so I started my carrier as a travel advisor and business owner of Travel4Everyone.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, the road is never smooth. First, it was a pandemic, then a slow process of reopening and many traveling restrictions. Then a disbelieve of many people that travel advisor exists as a profession. It is hard, especially at the beginning, when no one supports or believes in you. And many business owners will agree that even close people are just watching you, expecting you to fail. I got more support from strangers and clients than from my close circle. Is it disappointing? Yes! But I do it for myself and my son, not for others, so every day, I stand up and dedicate myself to the goal. There’s a saying: a client will become your friend faster than your friend becomes your client. I do my best to find the best deals for my clients and take care of the trips from the beginning to the end because I want them to have flawless vacations and special events (weddings, family reunions, etc.) I work diligently on each booking as if it is for myself, and I want only the best for myself 🙂 And helping people to create happy memories is essential to fuel my work. I love it when they send a random picture and say, “hey, this is great!” Even if something unexpected happens (sickness, accident, or the transfer being late), I am always here to help. I love providing great customer service (I have over 10 years of Forbes training in hospitality). By exceeding expectations and creating personalized, unforgettable experiences, I create repeat clients who come back to me because they know they will get value for their money.
