Today we’d like to introduce you to Louie Gravance.
Hi Louie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began in show business as a young teen, playing young teens on television until I became too hairy to pull that off-around 25. Lost everything and began waiting tables where I learned “Service is a Superpower.” Found my way back into performing through Disney theme parks and eventually became one of the original business facilitators for the Disney Institute, focusing on customer service training. Eventually left Disney to become a “service guru” and keynote speaker, designing training for B of A and many large organizations. Wrote a book.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No! Show business? I had to try three times to be a successful business owner on my own.

I offer seminars and what I call “speaking concerts” involving storytelling. My aim is to put feeling BACK into the corporate world. I’m known for my credo: “Great service serves the server first!”
How do you think about luck?
The luckiest phone call of my life was to a speakers bureau (way above my league) to see if they would manage and represent me. The owner happened to pick up the phone and (to my surprise) thought it was a great idea. They changed everything and opened many doors. They still represent me to this day.
