Today we’d like to introduce you to Mitze Stulme.
Hi Mitze, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
At some point in our lives, we find ourselves lost, without a clear goal in life. Some really find themselves and their actual purpose sooner and others unluckily are not able to do so in a timely manner. There are external forces that drive us to unpleasant and unsatisfactory destinations, such forces can be our friends, our parents, relatives, and of course our society. They dictate our goals, shape our way of thinking, and sometimes lead us to do things that we do not even like. We tend to please others instead of pleasing ourselves first.
First, we have to find out whether we are going in the right direction or not as well as determine if we are happy with what we do and who we are. But it is definitely not an easy task, therefore we have to cry out for help and not wait until the time is gone and it´s too late to embark on what we really want in life.
Mitze Stulme had an awakening and realized that she could help others awake too. She went to school to study a career which she ended up not liking at all. At an early age, she knew that music was her passion but her parents did not see it as a real and profitable thing to do for a young kid like her. Therefore, she continued her life immersed in continuous disappointments until one day she decided to do what she was passionate about. She discovered that people could experience a deep understanding of their purpose in life by connecting themselves with music. Music was the channel for her to help others to align their emotions with their heart, mind, and spirit. Once all is interconnected, they feel ready to consciously pursue their dreams. One day, she stopped listening to her own inner negative voice and what people would think about her passion and got finally enrolled in a music academy and graduated as a musician.
Being original and rebellious was and still is not a common thing in the country in which she was born. Mitze was forced to flee her motherland after being kidnapped with her daughter and son by pro-Government militia groups after expressing herself freely about the actual dictatorial regimen ruling Venezuela at the moment. This made her and her family look for asylum in the land of freedom of speech, the United States of America. Safety comes first for her and her family.
Mitze not only brought her idea into the land of freedom but also believes that even though many people out there claim to be free in many ways, they are truly not. The more people you come across on the street, the more you realize their need to discover who they really are and what they really want. We are undergoing difficult times now, and it is time to extend a helping hand to the most in need.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the main obstacles she found was the language barrier. So, the first thing she did was to take English classes privately and get to work immediately. There is no better way to learn than a hands-on job while learning in the classroom. As she was getting into the English world which in fact was totally new for her, she was parallelly putting brick after brick to make her dream come true. She finally got it all together with her company and now everything is up and running and ready to kick off in November.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about TPRAcademy?
Mitze Stulme combined all her knowledge and professional experience in all her sessions. She is an accountant, musician, undergraduate professor, and specialist in oral communication techniques.
Amazed by the twists that led her to achieve each goal, Mitzé Stulme founded TPRVENEZUELA about 13 years ago. It is now proudly registered in the State of Florida as TPRCONSULTING but known as TPRAcademy, an Educational Institution that uses innovative techniques to provide the necessary guidance to all participants to recognize and activate their talents, achieve a balanced internal communication, find their true passion, and most importantly to understand the power of communication through the use of the voice.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice for those who are just starting out I would say:
1) First, you need to get to know yourself.
2) Define your passion, what your real motto is.
3) Determine and overcome your fears.
4) Find some help, you will always need it.
5) Don´t give up after each failure, learn from it and start all over again.
