Hi Norbert, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When I was 12 years old, I had the opportunity to do a student exchange program in the U.K. in a small town called Ventnor. This was my chance to travel the world when I was in my early teens. So, I grabbed my mom’s old DV-Cam tape recorder and started to document my journey across Europe and overseas. Initially, it was just a fun hobby, but over time I decided I needed to turn my passion for videography into a full-time career. Film-making is the one thing that I never got tired of, and I love the pursuit of continuously improving my craft while making ever-lasting memories.
I started my career producing and editing extreme sports videos for professional athletes. I eventually decided to branch out and improve my skillset in the marketing video production and real-estate video world. No matter what I was working on, one thing remained the same: my dedication to the craft, my professionalism, and my hunger to always learn and perfect my skills.
Over my professional years as a videographer and social media manager, I was able to help my employers effectively showcase their products/services in a timely and professional manner that always left them satisfied with my work. To this day, I live and breathe visual storytelling, and I’m ready to help showcase your next project as well.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Whenever there were bumps in the road I just had to make adjustments and remember why I do what I love and keep working.
