Hi Olivia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Two years ago, I was a college grad in the middle of Covid with absolutely no clue what comes next. With a marketing degree and a love for working with people, I decided to go into the real estate industry. I worked as a receptionist at a small boutique brokerage. While working at the front desk, I became close with many of the agents at the brokerage and noticed a trend. Not only were there gaps in the brokerage’s marketing efforts, but many agents wanted help with their personal brand and marketing efforts as well. I began taking over the brokerage’s marketing efforts and simultaneously studied to earn my real estate license. After selling for a few months, I realized real estate marketing and making things beautiful was what I really loved. I started helping agents on the side with their personal brand, logo design, and social media accounts and absolutely loved it.
This led me to start my own business, She Sells Creative Co where I can focus my energy on helping real estate professionals as well as other entrepreneurs with their branding and marketing efforts! This allows me to help people all across the country with various aspects for marketing from social media to branding to web design and more! I’ve already had the opportunity to help some amazing humans build their brand and grow their business and can’t wait to continue helping more!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I’m a firm believer of everything happens for a reason and while it has definitely not been a smooth road to get to where I am today, I wouldn’t be here without overcoming the obstacles I was presented with. I realized early in my career that I needed to make a change and doing so was not easy. It’s scary to go off on your own and start your own business, but I knew it was how I’d make the biggest impact to help amazing clients build their brand and grow their business! Overcoming that fear and doubt was the best decision I’ve ever made as I now get to be creative, do what I love everyday, and help amazing people!

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
During the Covid-19 crisis, I’ve learned NOW is the time to start doing what you love. Covid-19 has affected us all so deeply and made me realize how precious life is. There’s no time to waste being unhappy with your situation. Take initiative and become who you want to be! Starting my own business has opened opportunities and connected me with people I never even knew was possible. It gives me the ability to travel, meet amazing people everyday, constantly learn and grow, and make an impact on people’s businesses across the country!
