Hi P.J, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was raised in Orange Park, Florida, just outside of Jacksonville. I moved to Orlando to attend UCF and graduated with a degree in Radio/Television Production. From there, I started freelancing in video production, as well as producing & engineering at various studios in the area. This led to me creating my media production company Genuine Creative LLC; we later found our physical production space & recording studio, InnerSpace Orlando. At InnerSpace, we ensure our community truly experiences creation as well as collaboration in its truest form!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a roller coaster ride for sure! All of the obstacles throughout this entrepreneurial journey. My mistakes have been great lessons, and as long as we keep learning and growing, the changes will always be for the better! One of the biggest challenges has been growing from a solo entrepreneur to full cohesive staff and all of the stages of growth along that journey! The progression we’ve made in just the one year that we have been open has been phenomenal; looking forward to what this next year will bring!

InnerSpace is a multimedia production facility and event space located in Altamonte Springs, just minutes north of Downtown Orlando. We specialize in professional audio/video production and incorporate this production value in our events thrown at the studio. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from when I started making beats for the first time on FL Studio. That’s when I first started envisioning having my own studio one day!
