I began my professional journey in the medical field and spent 14 years working as a Registered Sleep Technologist. It was a career I deeply enjoyed, but the industry started to change significantly. Advances in technology, such as home sleep tests and automation, coupled with insurance reductions and Medicare regulations, made the field unsustainable for many of us.
Faced with a dead-end, I knew I needed to pivot. The opportunity to own a moving company presented itself, and though it was a big leap from my previous career, I embraced it wholeheartedly. In the early days, I was still working night shifts in the medical field while handling our first few moves during the day. It was tough, but that persistence laid the foundation for what we’ve built today.

It has not been a smooth road, and we’ve faced plenty of challenges along the way. One of the biggest hurdles has been finding good personnel. On top of that, the broader economy has its own impact. For example, high real estate interest rates can slow down the housing market, which directly affects demand for moving services. It requires us to stay agile and find ways to adapt to these external factors.
Despite the challenges, we’ve learned to overcome them with persistence, smart decisions, and a commitment to quality service. These struggles have shaped who we are as a company and made our success even more rewarding.
