Today we’d like to introduce you to Roberth Sequera
Hi Roberth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Roberth Sequera, and I moved to the United States six years ago from Venezuela. I am a passionate Civil Engineer, and when I first arrived, many people around me told me that immigrants only have the option of working in labor jobs. However, I responded to myself, “This is a great country with endless opportunities.” Today, I am a Certified General Contractor serving the state of Florida, and I absolutely love what I do — building is my true passion. In addition to that, I’m also a musician and a drummer. I feel incredibly blessed for all the opportunities I’ve had.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
