Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Rosely Gonzalez. I am a single mother of three sons and a proud grandmother of one grandson. In October 2019, I joined a group of tax preparers, and in December 2019, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting after five long and challenging years of study. During that time, I worked as a school bus driver by day and attended university at night. There were many moments when I thought I wouldn’t make it, but perseverance kept me going.
While working with the tax preparers, I had the opportunity to learn everything about taxes. I met many people whom I had the privilege to help, and I eventually became an ambassador for the group.
In 2021, I decided to start my own path, and several women chose to join me on this journey. It wasn’t easy at first, but we all shared the same goal to move forward and they trusted me to lead the way. Five years later, they are still with me, and our group continues to grow and thrive. Today, our group has grown to twelve entrepreneurial women.
In 2023, I created my own tax software, which we have now been using for two years. My greatest satisfaction is seeing how these women have grown and achieved goals they once thought were impossible. Knowing that I played even a small part in their success is my biggest reward.
I am passionate about helping other women succeed and inspiring them to recognize their own potential to become strong, independent entrepreneurs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges was the financial struggle of starting a business. As a single mother without any external support, it was very difficult to find the resources I needed to move forward. There were moments when I didn’t know how I was going to make it, but my determination and faith kept me going. Every obstacle became a lesson that helped me grow stronger and more resilient. Today, I can look back and say that all those sacrifices were worth it.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that success requires faith, perseverance, and patience. There will always be challenges, but each obstacle is an opportunity to grow and become stronger. I’ve also learned that helping others succeed is one of the greatest rewards. When you lift others up, you rise with them.
