Hidden Gems: Meet Shantaebeus H of Klawedbyrosegold

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shantaebeus H

Hi Shantaebeus , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Starting off, I became a licensed nail tech a few years ago, though my journey in nails actually began before 2018. In my first interview with you, I shared how I got started, but this time, the journey feels a bit different. To recap, I first became interested in learning nails after watching countless tutorials. I remember telling my father about it, and he was kind enough to order a kit for me. From there, I took off and began practicing, using friends and family as models to perfect my craft.

As I continued to practice, my skills improved, and I started taking on clients. There were some breaks during this time, mainly due to an inconsistent location for seeing clients. But as time went on, I realized that I wanted to take my craft more seriously. That’s when I decided to pursue my license, which I eventually achieved.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, there have definitely been plenty of struggles, but there were also times when things went smoothly. One of the biggest challenges I faced was inconsistency. Whenever I took time away from doing nails, it led to a drop in clientele and made it harder to attract new clients. However, the smooth part was that when things were going well, they were really going well! I genuinely enjoyed every bit of the journey, both the ups and the downs. Overall, I’ve learned a lot throughout my experience as a nail technician.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
To give you a better sense of my journey, KlawedByRoseGold has recently transitioned to focusing on press-on nails for now. I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to take on clients again, but I’m still figuring out what’s best for me at this time.

If you want to stay updated with my journey, just follow my business page! My brand has always been known for nails and catering to women because, to me, keeping your nails done is a little boost of beauty and confidence. What sets me apart from others is that I’ve never felt the need to follow trends or keep up with other nail techs—I’ve always stayed true to my own vision.

In addition to nails, I’m working on something exciting that’s totally separate. It’s a new business I’ve been developing for about a year now. It’s still a work in progress, but I’ll give you a little sneak peek—it’s called ASTHC, pronounced “aesthetic.” I don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but trust me, you’ll want to stay tuned! Follow all my socials so you don’t miss any updates!

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I want to take a moment to give credit to every single client who has come to me for service. Your support means the world! I also want to thank everyone who has liked, shared, or engaged with any of my posts—you’ve all played a part in this journey. A huge shoutout to my friends and family, too, for supporting my crazy but amazing journey. Whether it was posting, sharing, buying products, or sending me new ideas, I appreciate each and every one of you. Your contributions have made all the difference!
