Hi Zorani, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I studied to become a facial specialist here in the United States. I arrived 5 years ago from my country of origin (Venezuela) looking for a better quality of life for my family and myself. I had to learn many facets of this country, and I was in many jobs (cleaning, supermarkets, and hotels). I have always liked the world of aesthetics. In fact, in my country, I graduated as a dentist. One day, a good friend invited me to be her model for her facial aesthetics classes, which I attended, and there, my interest in this area aroused more. At the end of my studies, I decided to undertake this project that is today Cielo Beauty and Skin Care. “Dedicated to beautifying, from the inside out.”
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a path where I had to develop study habits again, for example, since—from an economic point of view, often prioritizing what is necessary and putting aside what does not add up, gaining the trust of people or patients through treatment results. However, aesthetics is a world of much competition.

I am a facial specialist. I am in charge of offering skin care treatments, waxing, teeth whitening, Anti-acne, anti-aging, anti-blemish therapies, and everything that has to do with providing care to the skin. It is important to listen to our skin as it speaks and reflects about us. Improving its appearance and feeling better to reflect a healthy appearance thus. Providing this service also allows me to listen to my clients and provide them with a space where they can feel peaceful and relaxed.
What do you think about luck?
I do not believe in luck. I believe in God first and that there are opportunities, moments, people, and places indicated. It’s all about making the most of them. Faith, perseverance, and discipline must be our flag. Even at the wrong time, we can get something good out of that situation. In this country, I had to explore and discover facets of myself that I did not know. Learn new things. We often have to reinvent ourselves, get out of what we used to do, and realize that there are plenty of opportunities. Success is in practicing something many times to stand out and shine.
