Today we’d like to introduce you to Regene Hallback.
Hi Regene, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am 26 years old. I am an OCPS (Orange County Public Schools) graduate from Dr.Phillips High school class of 2012, I attended Orlando Technical College for Digital Audio Production, where I received my certifications in Broadcast Announcer and Audio Equipment Technician. I attended Bethune Cookman University studying Mass Communication with an emphasis on Broadcast Production and a minor in Music Technology. Today I am an employee of OCPS as the Administrative Secretary for the Curriculum and Digital Learning department. I am a Business Manager and the owner of Beautys Management Solutions LLC. I manage small businesses in Orlando, FL. Before starting my business, I was managing multiple businesses. Yuri Marie Beauty with Crown Me Royal LLC is a cosmetologist who specializes in bridal hair and makeup. We started the business together, and this small business gave me my first insight into how to run a business. Kenneth (Kenny) Watkins with Wrap N Fly INC does luggage wrapping, luggage storage, and luggage delivery. When I first met him, he was running his business outside of the airport at 5725 T.G Lee Blvd. I wrote one letter to the concession manager at Orlando International Airport, and now Kenny is the first minority small business operating from Terminal A Level 1. March 2021 will make two years that I have been managing his business. Wrap N Fly INC started making three times the profit after working with me. Eugene (EJ) Johnson with EJ Enterprises Vending LLC provides vending machines and is a whole distributor for the World’s Finest Chocolate. Before meeting me, EJ was a full-time employee at OIA and provided vending services to Jetblue and Spirit Airlines. I wrote a proposal on his behalf to provide vending services for Southwest Airline employees. Southwest accepted this proposal, and long story short, on September 10, 2020, EJ moved in 10 vending machines for SWA and is no longer a full-time employee for OIA but for himself. Also, EJ didn’t only become just a vendor but was honored and asked by SWA to become an independent contractor. Last but not least, Zach Pope, known as Zacc P, is a recording artist, actor, and model from Orlando, FL. He is a close friend and very supportive of my personal, career, and business decisions and goals, I randomly started calling him “ZBabii” as a friendly nickname. Zacc P loved the name and decided to name his first official album “Z Babii.” He also asked me to manage his business, which is now ZBabii International Records LLC. Since “ZBabii” was released August 28, 2020, he now has over millions of streams and is a verified artist on Instagram.
With the businesses I am managing rapidly growing, which is amazing and life-changing for BMS Business Owners, my fear was that they would grow and I will become overwhelmed. I am already responsible for graphic designing, website building, letter and proposal writing, inventory, ordering and shipping merchandise, operations, administration, brand awareness, etc. I swallowed my fear and decided to start my business so that I can not only continue to grow the businesses I currently manage but so I can grow “BMS” to be the one-stop-shop for all entrepreneurs to be prosperous. My goal and vision for the future is to build a entertainment studio called “ZBabii Studios” and have all the resources I will need to help entrepreneurs do what they love to do “together.” After starting Beautys Management Solutions LLC in June 2020 BMS team and I have done the following: hosted a free five week course on business development, had multiple photoshoots for BMS Entrepreneurs, created scripts and filmed commercials for our events, build business relationships, created merchandise for our ZBabii collection sold through BMS website, hosted a professional photoshoot for all professions in Orlando, hosted two successful open mics for local artist in Orlando to showcase their talents with help from Cheer Sports Bar on IDrive, Cheers also donated 200 wings to BMS to feed over 160 homeless people in downtown Orlando with help from a volunteer group Humble Helpers who had donations as well. This is only the beginning, and I am so grateful for the team of entrepreneurs who are dedicated to helping me even though I don’t have wages and salaries for them. They are willing to build the foundation of BMS and help the businesses I started managing by modeling merchandise, graphic designing, planning, and taking more and more responsibilities off my plate so that I can better manage my career with OCPS and the businesses that are apart of BMS.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business during the pandemic was not an average thing to do. I started my business right away because I felt there was a need for change in Orlando, FL. I knew this would be a difficult time for my peers, so I wanted to build an empire that would exercise having a quality mindset. I advertised to commit my time to Entrepreneurs that shows the same hunger for success that I show. With everything that was happening, I wanted to be that light at the end of the tunnel for my friends and family, with them knowing that we came too far to give up now. I wanted to reach down into their mind and souls to find their reason for living. Then once we’ve found that, I will help them along the way to paint their vision to having a better future. Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is built on a foundation of pure love. BMS is a one-stop-shop for all entrepreneurs to be prosperous. We provide services, plan events, and create programs for all entrepreneurs to have the opportunity to do what they love. With me being a business manager, I will help them along the way to build and grow their businesses. I network with other businesses that might need services from BMS Entrepreneurs, BMS Business Owners, or BMS Business partner Christopher Tosen Jr. with Corporate Hustlers. In the background, the BMS Executive team is making sure that all businesses associated with BMS are executing at a high performance with whatever opportunities we come across. In high school I was apart of the student council, orchestra, and band. In college I was apart of the Executive Board for the Student Government Association. I served many office positions throughout the years I attended, and started an organization in 11 resident halls called the Freshmen Interest Group. I am taking every thing I’ve learned by working in teams, attending seminars, reading books, and managing to teach my peers while coaching them to be their own boss.
What matters most to you? Why?
To inspire and work as a team. Many entrepreneurs that start a business take pride in what they have started, which is okay. Unfortunately, this can cause a roadblock when it comes to the growth of their business. BMS Entrepreneurs will start with a team and we will help each other to success, this way we know from the beginning that the sky’s the limit. Every amazing picture that is painted always begins with one thing, a vision.
