Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevaun Stephenson and Coleman Mitchell.
Hi Trevaun and Coleman, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Cooking has always been a passion of mine and seeing someone’s face after they tried my cooking is always the best part. Coleman and I have known each other for almost eight years and I brought the idea to him because I knew he shared the same passion for it as me. We both knew we didn’t want to work for someone for the rest of our lives so we decided to go into business together. With his creativity and my vision, we knew we could be successful.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No journey comes without obstacles. The task of everyday life in itself can be a struggle. When we first started our business, like many, we didn’t really know where or how to start it. That was probably the most difficult part of it all. Then 2020 came and the pandemic caused the business to take a hit. But with the grace of God a lot of opportunities opened up for us through it all.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Street Tingz?
Street Tingz is “Where The Food Creates The Vibe.” We offer services including but not limited to private caterings and lunch specials. We specialize and are known for our Caribbean Infused dishes. We can take your favorite dish and add our Caribbean twist to it. What sets us apart from others, I believe, is our creativity with our dishes. We can take one item and do many things with it. What we want people to know about our brand is that you will always get exceptional food, professional service and flavors that’s always create a VIBE.

I definitely want to thank my mom Charmaine, grandma and friends who always supported and, of course, all of our clients. Coleman would like to thank his Mom and Wife, Shelly.
