Hi Adriana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always had a special passion for cooking, I left my country Venezuela about 11 years ago and I had the opportunity to learn about other cultures and work in restaurants in different countries when I arrived here I started in a hotel in the kitchen opening breakfast and in my another half-shift I cooked for my neighbors and friends and from there the business idea grew to become today a catering company.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a business full of challenges and learnings, of course coming to the United States requires studying the market, using language adjusted to different cultures, permits, laws and work logistics. We apply previous experiences as entrepreneurs in other countries in the area of restaurant and event organization which allow us to be at the forefront, innovating service, with an excellent work team. We continue to grow and improve every day!
As you know, we’re big fans of catering.usa. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a catering services company located in the city of Orlando, we offer a range of stations and food and beverage specialties for all types of events; private, corporate, weddings and more. We have a highly qualified and professional service-oriented staff. Giving our clients a unique experience. We distribute packaged, frozen foods for Hotels, Restaurants, and other businesses in the food industry. We are detail oriented to product quality and presentation, our style and commitment make the difference in service.
We offer a varied and competitive menu, from the appetizer to the Mediterranean style; tapas, roosbie and rugula, salmon and radish among others, to our splendid and creative cheese tables. In the stations you find preparations; Latin, Italian, American, Arabic, Mexican, at the beverage station we have a Bar Mobil service, where we offer classic and new era alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail preparations.
We have an open invitation offering a recipe service to the Latino community in a television segment through the program ¨De todo un povo tv¨, broadcast every Saturday at 11am on Estrella Tv Orlando.
From Catering.usa, we sponsored the 1st advertising calendar for women entrepreneurs in the city of Orlando, which was launched for the year 2022, ¨Recipes for Success¨From Entrepreneurs. The main objective of the calendar is to support the community of entrepreneurs and publicize each brand and the face behind the brand, thus achieving greater reach and profitability in each business.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
For me, risk is an important possibility of winning, whether in alliances, money, learning, or experience. One of the risks that we have assumed within catering.usa has been the launch of the “Recipes for Success” calendar for Entrepreneurs, since it is a totally innovative and unknown project, in this project great economic, time and social risks were assumed.
