Hi Alejandry, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, I am Alejandry Rohena, owner of Alejandry Detailing Solutions, created in 2019 by Luquillo, Puerto Rico, and an Aircraft Broker. We offer upholstery, detailing services, and ceramic coating for Florida and Puerto Rico without limiting ourselves to traveling to other states. Also, I help other companies to sell and buy aircraft. Alejandry Rohena previously worked in the Department of Health in the Department of Epidemiology as Data Entry; in 2018, I made the decision to move to Chicago, where I got a job at a private detailing company for private jets, where my interest in airplanes began to open up. In 2019, I returned to Puerto Rico and began to offer detailed services in my house for cars and boats. I opened my own Car Wash workshop in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, that same year. Once I decided to offer my services at airports and private aviation companies, that’s where my biggest test began. Many times, they closed the doors, and many times, they told me NO.
Even so, I kept knocking on new doors, and that’s when someone gave me my first chance. I performed the first service on a Cessna 172, thanks to Captain Carlos Benitez. Jorge Ramos gave me the first opportunity in Florida to work in a Westwind. From that moment on, new customers, new referrals, and new opportunities began to arrive. We have worked with JMJ Aviation Group, Avionica (Avionics Technician Association), Fly Alliance, Puerto Rico FBO and Puerto Rico Helitours, Mayan Jets, Propilot, Air Flamenco, and more. In these 5 years, Alejandry Detailing Solutions has become a solid company in Puerto Rico and Florida. We have had the opportunity to make contact in Mexico, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, and Spain.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes, I have heard many negative comments from people in the same industry; initially, everything was complicated. I’ve had to listen to sexist comments. They trying to invent false things so as not to get opportunities. Today, I still listen to comments and struggle to offer the services. I have had many obstacles but still know how to work on them and keep fighting.

At the time, I had an aviation cleaning company; I was also an airplane broker, where I helped any person or company acquire or sell a plane. We also help others who want to open their own business in our business management seminar and other certificates such as auto and aircraft detailing.
