Inspiring Conversations with Alissa Holton of Holton Homes Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alissa Holton.

Hi Alissa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I love this question. I got started when I was pregnant with my daughter. I knew I had a calling for something but I was trying to figure out what that passion was. Growing up my favorite thing my family would do that I still remember to this day is going and looking at model homes. I always had a dream of owning a home and having that “security”. Now I get to help people make that dream happen for themselves and I love it so much.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. I definitely had my fair share of challenges. I was Hospitalized with pre-eclampsia while I was pregnant. After two weeks of laying in a hospital bed, they came in and told me I would have to deliver at 28 weeks or I wouldn’t make it. My organs were starting to shut down. They immediately took me to have an emergency c-section and my baby was rushed to the NICU for two months. After being pumped with medicine, and trying to recover from a cesarean and pre-eclampsia for the next 6 months I would continue to show up and find my way. It truly wasn’t until a year later I started to feel normal and then I was rushed into another emergency surgery for my gallbladder. Talk about getting knocked down, I felt like my life was never going to be the same, and just giving up. But I got back up and told myself if I can recover from all this there is nothing that can get in my way or stop me and I will continue to not let anything stop me.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I have a real estate team called the Holton Homes Group. We help people buy, sell, invest, and build wealth. I love the clients I get to work with every day from all walks of life. My team has produced multi-millions in real estate sales and we provide full servicing to our clients. We treat our clients like family and we love getting to know new clients.

What do you think about luck?
I wouldn’t necessarily say luck had anything to do with my life or business, but the amount of work and consistency did. It’s mostly about your mindset and believing in yourself,
