Inspiring Conversations with Ana Albarran of Enchanted Mobile Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Albarran.  

Ana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
7 years ago, I was a single parent of three children working three jobs to provide. My mother was already a massage therapist and she had mentioned to me about going to school to be a massage therapist myself but was afraid I wouldn’t care much for it. I ended up going to school and to my surprise I felt I was studying to be a doctor because what I was doing would actually be helping people. After I graduated, I started working for different mobile massage companies. I had a family scare in which my mother was thought to believe she had cancer and My mother is a massage therapist like myself, didn’t have something to fall back after her surgery financially which made me reevaluate what I was doing for myself and my family. Therefore, to make sure I’m not in the same predicament and situation where I would feel like I would have to struggle financially I, therefore, started my own company Enchanted Mobile Spa 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth Journey. My dream was so big, but besides the money I know I needed I didn’t realize what was actually needed to actually start a business. While starting my business I was persistently educating myself on how to start and run one and get myself out there. There is most definitely a challenge in starting one’s business and with me my biggest obstacle was myself. The business was way out of my comfort zone I did not like how it was making me feel. I would actually have panic attacks just thinking about all I had to do, but I push past those feelings and my thoughts of failure or what other people might think of me, but I did what I had to do to be where I am. To be honest, I still worry, I still get afraid, and I do become depressed and downhearted, but my husband of 3 years knows how I pick me up when I need it.
