Hi Chris, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in the construction world. My dad was a licensed contractor, and I spent my childhood on job sites, learning the ropes of the trade. As I worked alongside him in the family business, I developed a deep interest in building and construction, which led me to pursue a career in the field.
After a few years with the family business, I expanded my experience by working with production home builders, where I learned the complexities of large-scale projects. Later, I transitioned to the county as a building inspector, gaining a solid understanding of code compliance, quality control, and the importance of doing things the right way.
Through all of this, I knew one thing: I wanted to start my own business. With years of hands-on experience and a wealth of industry knowledge, I saw the opportunity to launch a roofing company. The timing felt right, and I haven’t looked back since.
Today, my company thrives on a foundation built from those early lessons—combining craftsmanship, integrity, and a commitment to quality. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m proud to see how far we’ve come.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some struggles are building a reputation and hiring the correct people. Both are hand in hand and you must have the proper people representing your company to create a great reputation.
