Today we’d like to introduce you to Czenobia Christian.
Hi Czenobia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began with a return to the area where I grew up contribute to my community. Passion for children started at the age of sixteen when I worked in childcare. After attending college, I returned home with a longing to do more. My father, John Christian, envisioned, Christian Worship Center COGIC, as having opportunities for community outreach. Leesburg Christian Academy was established to provide children with not only excellent educational path but also a Christian-based to success.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth journey. There were a lot of sleepless nights of wondering if I am doing the best I can for my students. Meticulously planning and creating a curriculum that is suitable for all.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Leesburg Christian Academy, a private educational institution located in Leesburg, FL, it is
situated on the
Christian Worship Center COGIC campus. In 2024, LCA inaugurated its first academic year
with forty students. The academy caters to students starting at the age of five, offering
kindergarten through sixth grade education aimed at nurturing exceptional leadership
qualities. Our principal, Ms. Czenobia Christian, has been instrumental since the school’s
inception, collaborating with her father, Pastor John Christian, to establish and develop
Leesburg Christian Academy. The mission of Leesburg Christian Academy is to empower
students to become independent thinkers and to promote diversity in education within an
inclusive Christian learning environment that values and respects all students. Leesburg
Christian Academy provides educational opportunities along with scholarships to ensure
that every student focuses on growing to the best of their ability.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Growing up in Leesburg, I found that there are the lack of opportunities and activities. Many are considerable drive away. I appreciate having my family nearby and being able to visit them easily when I miss them. The people I went to elementary school are still around, allowing us to reminisce, and some of their children attends Leesburg Christian Academy. It is a full-circle moment!
