Inspiring Conversations with Dani Herrera of Dani The Roof Influencer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Herrera.

Hi Dani, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I am Dani “The Roof” Influencer. I started my journey in 2017 by door-knocking in GA, the metro Atlanta area. Before this, I worked as a plumber assistant for 3 years. When I first started door-knocking, I thought it was a scam since it sounds too good to be true. FREE ROOF that’s what I would let people know. The more I get involved with insurance adjusters and companies the more I realized how bad the claims where handled. I saw a lot of injustice in the claim process from adjusters and contractors. That’s when I begin to search and seek other alternatives to help Homeowners win their case or get a full approval for any storm damages. I found out about PAs (public adjusters), learned, and work together to help contractors get more items approved and being able to do a good and professional repairs by residential codes. This repairs could take place in the roof or any interior. After working in sales for a long time, I saw more and more contractors in need of the information of how to file a claim and get the insurance to approve the job. So, I decided to start my social media @Danitheroofinfluencer and teach contractors thru my content about insurance claims. GOATS 4 SALES contacted me to collaborate in their Dream facilitaros program to teach and educate contractors in the industry. This program can be about Recruiting, door knocking, insurance claim process, and back office. I also work and be sponsored by other roofing tools such as ridge pro and pitch gauge software.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not being smooth AT ALL. Being a female in this male dominate industry hasn’t been easy. You have to oversell and overcome some obstacles that your same clients think about, like ” She is a female; she probably doesn’t climb roofs,” “she doesn’t know about construction” You also get tricked and robbed by other contractors, and it hard for you to trust someone in this industry. But there is good people out there! And obviously, I know and work with them. 🙂

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about Dani The Roof Influencer LLC?
