Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Andrade.
Hi Daniel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I work with the People that I love and I love what I do. The computers were my childhood dreams and now those dreams became true. I started working at Grupo TEA (Computer and Cable management Company) back in 1999 in Mexico City when I was a teenager. Since then never dream of something else besides to own my own computer Store (like all kids from 80’s and 90’s). I moved to USA (Orlando) in 2005 working any kind of job you can imagine … Cleaner, Construction, Painter, Security Guard, Cook, Personal Cook, etc. But always working aside fixing computers dreaming one day I will have my own store. Seven years ago in 2015 that dream become true with the support of my family: My wife and my Two Beautiful kids and -$175 in my Bank account. It’s been hard but we still here Ofi-Store it’s my Dream come True.
And it’s the support of four beautiful families.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was difficult because computer stores have slowly disappeared little by little. Thanks to the big companies like best buy, ifix it and others. During the pandemic, we suffered a sales decline but we stayed afloat because we are an essential business. And we help many people in the transition from work from office to home and school to home as well. But fortunately my vision of a computer store was like the ones I visited in the 90’s when in reality those who worked there were experts and passionate. And the treatment was direct and personalized, full of surrounding computer geeks. Today that has been lost but thanks to the new Gamer’s, influencers, work at home, cryptocurrency and new technologies the need of stores like us it’s real. People don’t want to deal with big companies anymore they want a place where they can fix and find the solution to their needs with an expert people. And that’s what we are.
As you know, we’re big fans of Ofi-Store Corp. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Ofi-Store it’s an independent IT company with one single location in Orlando, FL.
We specialize in any type of computers repair and It services. We focus is the small and medium business to help them out in their needs. We have a very broad portfolio of our services for those who need it. We love our community and we are proud to be part of the economic life of Orlando.
What sets you apart from others? We have a direct contact with the owners and clients, we explain every single detail about their needs and also we are very honest on our solutions. People who do not know what they need or who know what they need but do not know how to do it, we explain it in a way that they understand us 100%. That’s what people it’s looking with us and they love it.
We have clients who have been with us since day one and today they are still our clients, either because we repair their computers, we install their offices, we set up their children’s gaming computer, we install the corporate mail for their businesses. We create their website for them, people who come to find a screw, find out about new technologies. We are very proud of all the people, the appreciation, the affection, the love but above all that they choose us.
Let them know that if at any time they need help with something related to computers in their homes or businesses. Everything that has to do with IT or simply talk about technology, as it was done in the 90’s in specialized stores. We are here for them, indeed we are here to make money but in turn, we are here because we love what we do.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was: Smiling. Loving. Persistent. Curious. Passionate about what I like.
But above all with a good heart. But actually, I think I still am.
Since I can remember I have always liked computers. The first one I got my hands on was an IBM 386 with a monochromatic monitor. Astonishing I have always liked strategy games like dungeons and dragons, chess, magic the gathering and video games.
I was always very communicative with people always trying to solve problems and helping people.
