Today we’d like to introduce you to David Garcia.
Hi David, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I spent 9 years in Kodiak, Alaska. I drove to Alaska in 2009 during the housing crash and moved back to Florida in 2018. Gradutated Mariner high School class of 2007. Previous employment with McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Suncoast security in lee county for unarmed security, Kent security in Naples (security at the Raymond James Stadium when the Steelers won the Superbowl), Grandpa was in the news press making dollhouses for waitresses at Perkins for their kids, Volunteered 10-20~ years at formerly Christ Lutheran Church, Assisted with Boots & Bling Gala to benefit the Southwest Florida Horse Rescue as a sponsor and with their deliveries and labor (raised $50-60,000 for the charity)—recently donated 400-415 lbs of turkey for a turkey drive held by 1st Class Delivery, where we donated $50 plus all labor and time and service fees involved in collecting the funds, 4 years driving for Uber, Lyft, door dash, GrubHub, bite squad, 3 years in business as of 1/1/2024. Sponsored and participated in MGS DESIGNZ women empowerment (Monica Garcia) speaking event in 2023, benefitting the Cape Coral Caring Center, collected 100s/1000+ lbs canned dry food for the charity.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, it has not been easy. One of my real struggles has been offering high-quality service at a reasonable price while gas and inflation constantly influence my business and insurance costs. I have amazing clients and mentors who look out for me and have been with me every step of the way from the beginning and even before. The biggest struggle has been maintaining consistency and integrity in an industry with very little.
We’ve been impressed with 1st Class Delivery LLC, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart?
We are a white glove, top quality, personal driver service. We are based in Cape Coral, in Lee County, Florida. We serve the surrounding areas, and our business concept is that clients who need more time in the day to do their errands would like a driver to do it for them. Or they would like a driver to hire to shuttle them around. At the same time, they do their errands airport trips, passenger trips, catering orders, propane tank exchanges, grocery shopping, 21+ product deliveries, and more.

We would love to work with more property managers, Airbnb owners, rental owners, and businesses that would like to get their clients a nice thank you for supporting them and using them; the sky is the limit. We can work with virtually any client or any business.
