Inspiring Conversations with Dina Brady of Dina Brady Coaching, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dina Brady.

Hi Dina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My goodness, this is brief, and my story is anything but short. But here it goes.

I’ve been coaching clients for nine years, working with people one-on-one, with couples, in group coaching, leading breathwork ceremonies, and hosting global retreats. Before that, I was a social worker for the state of Florida, partly doing mitigation work on Miller v. Jackson cases with boys who had been tried as adults. Social services, as you can imagine, is heavy. It follows you home, it lives in your bones.

I’ve had the absolute honor of walking beside people in their lowest lows, through murder charges, addiction, homelessness, violence, and mental illness, and I’ve also coached corporate leaders from giants like Tesla, Google, and Princeton University. No matter the story or the status, the human need is the same: to be seen, to be guided, and to remember their own light.

That desire to walk with people through their fire started young for me, at nine years old, when my mother died of cancer. I learned how to be the light when everything went dark. But my story has its own bottom. I’m a recovering addict in a 12-step program, clean now almost my entire adult life. I had to learn how to live by spiritual principles, not as a nice idea, but to survive an addiction that wanted me dead.

I went from a homeless high school dropout to a college graduate, business owner, and homeowner in a safe neighborhood, raising a son with my healthy, loving partner. I’ve helped thousands of people because I took my lived experience, paired it with my education, and created a safe container filled with tools that transform the way people live and love. I could have never imagined that my most shameful life experiences would one day give me the ability to connect to all humans in the most authentic and empathetic way.

I’m obsessed with this work, obsessed with watching the light come back on in people’s eyes. My approach is about bringing awareness to your thoughts, challenging limiting beliefs, and learning to be fully present for all of it: the good, the hard, and the breathtakingly beautiful.

It’s acceptance. It’s personal responsibility. It’s connection. It’s learning how to tap back into the very essence of life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
None of it’s been smooth and I’m not sure I’d be where I am today if it had been. Life and business aren’t meant to be easy. They’re messy, grueling, and uncomfortable but the rewards are profound. Even if it all fell to shit today, it would still be worth it.

When I started my company, I was finishing my degree, working full-time for the state of Florida, and seeing up to 16 private clients a week, on top of managing 30 state clients. I was commuting to Tampa on weekends to finish school, weight lifting, building a home, and at one point, doing it all while pregnant. It was pretty insane, overwhelming, and sometimes even felt impossible but those years of juggling the unimaginable forged a grit and resilience I carry into everything I do today.

If you’re thinking about testing your limits, go for it. You’ll be amazed at who you are!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Dina Brady Coaching, LLC?
Coaching with me is like working with a personal trainer at the gym only instead of reps for your body, we’re training your thoughts, behaviors, and spirit. I specialize in helping people build mental and emotional strength, set healthy boundaries, and live from their values so they can have more freedom, purpose, and joy.

I’ve spent nearly a decade coaching. My approach blends cognitive behavioral coaching (CBC), building awareness of your thoughts and challenging limiting beliefs, and mindfulness: cultivating the ability to slow down, stay present, and fully engage with life as it’s happening. It’s also deeply value-driven, helping clients align their choices and actions with what matters most to them. What sets me apart is that my packages include real-time text coaching, so we can reframe situations as they happen. You don’t have to wait until our next session to shift your perspective.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the safe, judgment-free space I’ve built, a place where people feel seen, heard, and capable of transformation. My work is for ANYONE ready to stop running on autopilot and start living with intention. Whether we’re in a session, on a retreat, or exchanging texts mid-day, my goal is always the same: to help you reclaim your life, your light, your choice! and live fully now.

Current offerings include coaching packages ranging from 6 sessions to a full year, a 10-week couples bootcamp, and my small women’s group, Brave Love: Learn a New Way to Love. I also host Awaken Together monthly breathwork sessions, and The Phoenix Retreat with the amazing Kendra Davies—a women’s retreat at Lake Atitlán this November, with a return to Bali in September 2026. Monthly payment options are available to keep everything accessible.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5–10 years, AI will be everywhere in coaching but the real value will always lie in having a live, human coach who can read your tone, feel your energy, and meet you exactly where you are. People will crave that real-time, personal connection alongside tech tools. Coaching will continue evolving toward accessible, flexible support, accountability check-ins, group programs, and transformative retreats that blend mindset work with somatic practices for lasting change. My hope is that, in this information-saturated era, we learn to trust ourselves more, stop looking outside so much, and put all the noise down. We will “return home” to ourselves, to simplicity, and to the deep knowing of our own magic.
