My name is Irina, and I’m originally from a small town in Central Russia. I moved to the U.S. to pursue my dream of building a flower business and bringing my unique vision of European-style floristry to America.
I arrived nearly two and a half years ago, and for the past eight months, I’ve been running my flower shop in one of Orlando’s most beautiful neighborhoods—Baldwin Park. My journey began as a home florist with an online store, but as my customer base grew, I knew it was time to take the next step. After my first two major holiday seasons, I opened my shop in Baldwin Park, a place I fell in love with at first sight. Its charm perfectly matches my floral style—sophisticated, elegant, and inspired by European floristry.
At my store, customers can find both classic flowers and unique, rare varieties. We offer a selection of ready-made floral arrangements, as well as custom pre-orders for pickup or delivery. I personally select all our flowers from the finest suppliers in Ecuador, Europe, and the U.S. Seeing my floral designs resonate with customers and watching my business grow has been incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful to be part of this wonderful community and to share my passion for flowers with Orlando.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can’t say that the path was difficult, as I have a lot of experience in floristry and a vision of the flower business as such. Since I was the director of a flower shop in Moscow. The main obstacle for me was my knowledge of the language, since I came to America, I did not know it at all and I learned it in the process of communicating with clients. Fortunately, my clients appreciated my floristic skills and professionalism first of all.
