Inspiring Conversations with Jaclyn Arnold of Jaclyn E Music LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaclyn Arnold

Jaclyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started professionally performing at the age of nineteen. I went to open mics, met the right people, and started landing gigs pretty quickly after that. I eventually quit my lifeguard and restaurant job to pursue music full-time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, but it has been an adventurous one. In the beginning, I struggled with a lack of confidence, and it held me back from my true potential. I always had motivation to keep pushing forward, but sometimes I felt “imposter syndrome”. It is a psychological experience where you feel like you’re faking it or undeserving of your success, even if you have already made it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Jaclyn E Music LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I started my music company, Jaclyn E Music LLC, this year in 2024. Having this company enables me to handle myself more professionally and truly operate as an independent artist. I specialize in booking solo shows, dueling pianos, and trios and in the future, artist showcases. I believe my brand is unique in the world of music because I truly cater each show to each customer’s expectations. It was on my bucket list this year to launch my own music company and at 23 years of age I am proud of this accomplishment. Jaclyn E Music LLC is happy to provide entertainment for any occasion and is able to adapt to whatever style of music is needed for your event!

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I would advise you to find a mentor that is patient, wise, and understanding. It is better to be in good company than bad company and if you are spending a lot of time with a mentor, make sure you would be happy to be in their shoes before taking advice from them.
