Hi Jenifer, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Peru and brought to the United States when I was two years old. My mom raised me and my siblings mostly as a single mother who didn’t speak English, so from an early age I learned what it meant to adapt, work hard, and figure things out even when the path wasn’t clear. I graduated high school at sixteen with a scholarship I couldn’t use because I was undocumented at the time, and that moment changed the course of my life. It taught me that success isn’t always about the doors that open easily, but about building your own when they don’t.
For over twenty years, I worked in sales, hospitality, and management, eventually becoming a General Manager at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale and later a Digital Customer Service Manager for a luxury resort brand. But my real turning point came when my younger brother founded United Tax Pros. I believed in his vision of building an empire that empowers people through financial education. What started as one small office in Kissimmee has grown into multiple locations across several states, and I now own the Main Street branch.
My journey has been about transforming challenges into opportunities as a Latina, as a mother, and as a businesswoman. Today, I co-own Sigma Pioneer, a digital automation company, with my partner Aston Wright Jr., and I’m also one of four founders of The Legacy Path Foundation, which focuses on empowering children in the foster care system through mentorship and financial literacy. Everything I build comes back to one mission: creating legacy not just for myself or my daughter, but for the communities that raised me and the generations that come next.
As my journey evolved, collaboration became the core of my vision. That’s what led to the creation of The TAMJA Group, a collective of creators and entrepreneurs dedicated to bridging business, art, and innovation. Through this partnership, I’ve been able to merge my experience in finance and automation with the creative worlds of branding, storytelling, and community development. Together, we’re building spaces and systems that help others grow, dream, and lead with purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My path has been filled with obstacles that shaped me into who I am today. Being undocumented for most of my youth created barriers that made even simple opportunities feel out of reach. I had to learn to create my own way, to work twice as hard, and to find strength in uncertainty.
When I stepped into business ownership, I faced a whole new set of challenges. Balancing motherhood, partnership, and leadership while rebuilding myself through physical and emotional healing hasn’t been easy. There were moments where I questioned everything, but quitting was never an option.
I’ve learned that every challenge carries a lesson if you’re willing to see it. The struggles forced me to become resourceful, resilient, and unshakable in my faith. Today, I see those moments not as setbacks but as the foundation of my strength. The road was never meant to be smooth it was meant to prepare me for impact.
The creation of The TAMJA Group was born from those challenges — a reminder that collaboration turns struggle into strength. Each of us came from different industries but shared the same purpose: to build something that uplifts others. It’s proof that even in the hardest seasons, unity and creativity can build something bigger than any one person’s vision.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is creating impact knowing that something I built or someone I helped is now in a better position because of it. I find joy in seeing others win, especially when I know they once doubted they could. That’s why I love what I do; every client, every business owner, every young person I mentor is a reminder that purpose is bigger than profit.
My daughter also brings me the deepest happiness. She’s my reminder of why I keep pushing, learning, and growing. Watching her see me chase my dreams teaches her that she can chase hers too.
