Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Wirth.
Hi Jordan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in dentistry for almost 10 years now. I come from a family of dentists. My mother, uncle, brother, and cousin are all dentists. I went to dental school at University of Tennessee located in Memphis. I started my career in very fast-paced offices and have worked as an associate but now I have branched out into my own private office. I have felt in the past that people come to a dental office and feel as though it is a sort of “chop-shop” and I am here to say that dentistry is not a one solution fixes all. There are so many things you can tell from one’s oral health that speaks volumes to their overall health. I want to provide a different experience to the dental patient that is facilitated by comfortability and centered on the oral-systemic connection. My strong belief is that oral health is connected to our overall health as it is the portal to our body. I am here to be a pillar within the community in both education and treatment. I am not here to just fill a tooth, I’m here to teach you how we can prevent these recurrent issues from happening as well as provide comprehensive treatment.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have been very grateful in that I have a great support system with my family. My wife and I are very family-oriented. Nonetheless, there are always struggles that come along the way especially with starting a small business from scratch. However, we have been able to manage these struggles because we believe that what we are doing is right and can only benefit the people of our community.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a general dental practice that specializes in family dentistry. We offer a variety of services from simple restorative treatment, cosmetic, orthodontics, endodontics (root canals), and implants. I would say I am particularly good with orthodontics (clear aligners in particular) and have taken over 100 hours of continued education to refine my skills in this specific area. I have also taken other continued education courses to help refine my restorative and implant skills. What sets me a part from others is not only am I able to provide comprehensive treatment, but I am also here to educate you on the importance of oral health and its great connection to our overall health. I may be able to tell you things about yourself that you may have never realized. Most dentists are quick to put you in a category and say “you don’t brush/floss enough” or “you’re a grinder” but I am here to educate you multi-faceted truth of oral health with proven clinical data. I can’t offer a magic bullet that will cure all of your problems but I can recommend some of the best products that are available to us (backed by scientific data). My brand is Omnia dental – ‘everything’ dental. I welcome all ages and all families. Especially with children, we are able to pick-up on disordered developmental signs and tell you how we can prevent issues from emerging as they grow into their adolescence/adulthood.
How do you think about happiness?
The first thing two people share is a smile. What makes me happy is a smile. From my practice team members to my patients. Bringing happiness to others is what drives my purpose.
