Inspiring Conversations with Juan Carlos Astaiza of Pixelplate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Carlos Astaiza

Hi Juan Carlos , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my creative career as a photographer, capturing compelling visuals that sparked my passion for storytelling. This led me to explore video production, collaborating with friends to refine my craft.

Eventually, I transitioned to working in Las Vegas, partnering with agencies and nightclubs as a resident filmmaker. As my experience grew, my friend Omar Cadenas, a talented and professional photographer, and I came together to co-found Pixel Plate, a company focused on gastronomy. Today, we specialize in marketing and managing social media for restaurants, helping them elevate their brand presence through creative storytelling and strategy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I faced many obstacles throughout my career as a filmmaker. It was challenging to build a community that trusted my process because this industry is filled with creators. However, what helped me succeed was my consistency and dedication to my work.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Pixelplate?
