Hi Karla, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Artis Creative Studio, its origin is from Honduras, where 2 creative moms inspired by their children and applying their publicist and graphic design careers create and design unique and unforgettable gifts for the events of its dear clients.
Today we are proud to expand our services to Orlando Fl, able to ship to all United States and this way fill with joy, color, and unique custom products for your events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been an easy transition. Starting in a completely new country for me where you don’t know anyone and working so hard to make your business known but at the same time it has been a lot of growth and learning and these challenges are what make grow my business.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Artis was born from my passion for my publicist and graphic design career which is surrounded by a lot of creativity.
In 2020 I became a mom and decided to stop working for a while to dedicate myself to my son and then the pandemic knocked on our door. I had many plans such as my son’s birth photographs and his monthly photographs but with the pandemic, I had to manage from home to be able to capture those moments that are so special for me.
So, I started to make the scenery for my son’s photographs every month with a different theme. I mixed my knowledge of my career with crafts. I was so accepted in my country and several people began to ask me to provide the service and that is how I started this business with a friend in my country. Currently, in Honduras we continue to provide our services and now that I have moved to the USA, I decided to start Artis in this wonderful country.
Over time I have been training, even more, to be able to cover different services such as custom party supplies, wall decoration, and photography.
Constant training is extremely important to me to provide excellent service to my clients.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is my family and creating! I love to create and that my creations make other people happy!
