Inspiring Conversations with Kutar Sield of Just Be-Unique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kutar Sield.

Hi Kutar, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
This hair care business was influenced by my daughter Berry-Unique. She is five years old now. Since she was a year and a half old, she was a toddler influencer on Instagram and she went viral by me making hair tutorials. So many brands all over the world were sending us hair products to promote and make a hair tutorial using these products.

I am so grateful for her platform and made great connections with these small businesses and big businesses. In 2020, during quarantine; I decided to my make own products. I thought to myself if we can influence so much with other brands why not try to create our own hair products. This is our passion and so many can see that throughout our products.

Our brand is Just Be-Unique: which is basically Berry-Unique (my daughter’s name) and we sell hair growth oils with Berry flavors. A strawberry edge control is the best ever. conditioning gel, shampoo, and more. So far Instagram’s exposure and supporters; Just Be-unique is doing amazing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some days, I get no orders and other days I get 10 orders. It’s definitely a roller coaster with any type of business but I just can’t give up! This is based on my daughter that’s like me giving up on her. So I keep going.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our products promote hair growth, thickness, and health. We sell hair growth oils in the flavors of Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Blackberry. We just completed our whole line with our Berry Curly Cream. Our hair & body butter is the best seller!

This brand sets apart from any other brand is because most of these products are handmade and made with love. This brand is also based on my daughter Berry-Unique which is so important to me. I have so many reviews on Instagram that customers’ hair is growing and flourishing.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was my 4th birthday. It was celebrated in my country Suriname in South America! It was a very big birthday right outside of my house and I will always remember me having a great time with my friends and eating KFC. You know KFC taste is so much different abroad.
