Hi Kyle , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Our story is deeply rooted in family. Our owner, Kyle grew up around landscaping—his dad owned and ran a successful company called Greener Gardens, and Kyle was right there beside him from a young age. Whether it was loading up the truck before sunrise or learning how to lay perfect stripes in a lawn, those early experiences shaped his work ethic and love for the industry.
After spending years working alongside his father and gaining firsthand knowledge of both the business and the craft, Kyle knew landscaping was more than just a job—it was in his blood. In 2021, we took a leap and launched It’s Grow Time Landscaping. We started small: just Kyle, a truck, a mower, and a vision to build something of our own. That vision, combined with his dedication to doing quality, honest work, quickly took root.
Kyle leads every job with pride, treating each lawn and landscape like it’s his own. He’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about our clients and the spaces we help them maintain. His background with Greener Gardens gave him the foundation, but It’s Grow Time Landscaping is where he’s taken that legacy and made it his own.
The business has grown through word of mouth, loyal customers, and a reputation for reliability and excellence. We’ve built something we’re proud of—one yard at a time—and we’re just getting started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most small business journeys, it hasn’t always been a smooth road—but every challenge has helped shape who we are today.
When we launched It’s Grow Time Landscaping, we had the drive and the vision, but building something from the ground up takes a lot of grit. Balancing the demands of a growing business while raising a family has been one of our biggest challenges. There were long days, unpredictable weather, and the usual setbacks with equipment and scheduling—but we kept showing up.
As a small company, we operate with a tight-knit crew—just a few reliable people who take pride in what we do. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been watching our teenage daughter become part of the business. She now works alongside Kyle and is, without question, our best worker. It’s been amazing to see her take initiative, learn the trade, and carry on the same values Kyle was raised with.
Through all the ups and downs, our commitment to quality and consistency has never changed. We’ve stayed true to our roots—family-run, community-focused, and dedicated to doing things the right way. The road hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been deeply meaningful, and we’re proud of the business we’ve built together.

When a customer recommends us, or tells us their yard has never looked better—that’s success.
