Hi Lauren, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Hello Beautiful Beings,
My name is Lauren Roberts and I am the founder of Rise Up Live Bright.
I began the journey of finding my purpose and passion at a time in my life when I was tired of playing small and taking on the victim role. I was tired of being unhappy and feeding into my suffering. I was walking through this life with a blindfold on and allowing the world to have power over my story. I would take on the stories of others and the conditioning of the world as if they were my truth. I was done dimming my light and not loving myself fully.
You know what I did? I surrendered. I gave myself permission to sit on a pillow and meditated. What I experienced within those moments is unexplainable. The only way I know how to describe it is a feeling of unconditional love.
I opened my eyes, and the azaleas that were right outside my window seemed brighter and more beautiful than ever before. Tears rolled down my face as my soul’s purpose was awakened. I knew at that moment; this was the beginning of the rest of my life.
I am here now living in my truth and purpose. I am here to serve individuals by guiding them to connect with their inner love, light, and activate the healer within themselves. Spirit shows me the path time and time again. My gifted title is Healer and what it means to be a healer is infinitely evolving.
I began this self-love practice in 2017 and through my own life and professional experience, I fully uncovered my clairvoyant gifts. I founded Rise Up Live Bright, developed The Self Journal, The Self Journey, and launched a podcast called Rise Up on the Porch. I have also received multiple certifications in my field including Master Reiki Certification in 2021, harnessed the gift of sound healing, and currently obtaining a certification in EFT and TFT. I have an open high vibrational channel for spirit to work through, this is the most profound gift, and allows me to connect with those on a soul level during healing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I love this question because no it has not. Even to this day, I am working on my own healing while operating and growing a small business. I think because of the field I am in; your worth can be swept up into the energy of the business. I have to constantly remind myself and detach my worth from whether or not someone signs up with Rise Up Live Bright.
As well as, facing my fears. I had to face so many fears when I started this business and truly stepped into the gifted title Healer. What were people going to think? We’re people going to believe in me? Are people going to think I am crazy? —- I mean all the questions you can think of popped into this mind.
BUT I faced those questions, fears, leaned into the unknown, and took a leap of faith. Honestly, I haven’t looked back since because it truly has changed my life. I remember when I first launched Rise Up Live Bright, I wrote down 4 things I wanted to evolve into: 1. Have 3 clients within the first 3 months 2. Lead events 3. Facilitate a retreat 4. Connect with other healers in the community. All 4 of these evolutions were achieved. I looked back and said to myself “You did it, you believed in your purpose” and now I truly believe anything is possible.
One thing I would like to mention is my healing around my relationship with society, the stories that were woven into my life’s novel from school because I have the unique mind of a dyslexic being. However, the school system and society deemed me non-intelligent. I really had to heal that story and I can say now I know that to be untrue because I successfully have an AA degree, can figure out most things on my own, and see things differently than the average human. Which is such a gift and I have learned to really love this part of me.
—— by starting my own business and believing in something that may be unconventional, I have stepped onto this exciting path through journeying through the uncomfortable and my fears.
I know that I will continue to hit bumps in the road and will have to pivot. Thank goodness for that, challenges are put there for evolution and growth. If it all was “easy” I don’t think I would be the version of who I am now.
While my journey story has not been the easiest, it is however the most beautiful story of resilience, strength, courage, trust, and love!

Rise Up Live Bright is a heart led business, guiding and assisting individuals to accessing their self-love through in-depth journeys, healing sessions, and events. I specialize in self-love practices, Mindfulness, Reiki, intuitive healing, sound healing, EFT, and TFT. My knowledge and expertise continue to evolve and grow each year. I make clients feel immediately welcomed and I have such a positive energy that radiates when you meet me.
My work has helped transform my client’s lifestyle by leading them to finding their unique self-care toolkits and strengthening their intuition. I have a beautiful magic that radiates from within. My clients appreciate that I am down-to-earth, open-minded, and honest. A client said, “investing in her offerings means investing in yourself, I am so glad to be a recipient of both”.
I am most known for opening up a safe and supported space for individuals to feel seen, heard, and held. This is so important during the healing journey because it allows the body to fully relax, flow out of fight or flight, and into a parasympathetic state.
I am most proud of the safety clients feel when they are working with me. I find that it is one of the most important things when you are in the field of healing. If someone does not feel safe, how do you expect any true healing to occur?
Any big plans?
One day Rise Up Live Bright will be a global business that radiates out the highest energy to the world. A space where people around the world can activate their self-love and healing within themselves through: online courses, retreats, training, group containers, events, and personalized healing journeys.
One day I would also like to have a non-profit that brings this type of work to unserved communities around the world. Everyone deserves to have access to space like this and I know that this will happen to Rise Up Live Bright. That RULB will be that space for those who haven’t been truly seen, heard, and held to be seen, heard, and held. This is my ultimate end goal, that we will grow to the point that this is possible.
