Inspiring Conversations with Leiza Quiles of Le’Tif Financial Solutions LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leiza Quiles.

Leiza Quiles

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Leiza Quiles, and I was born in April 1975 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. From a very young age, faith and service became the foundation of my life. Growing up in an evangelical church, Iglesia Misión Evangélica in Arecibo, I had the blessing of joining my parents Jorge Quiles and Alba D. Lugo on yearly missionary trips. Those experiences opened my eyes to the needs of others, instilled compassion, and planted a lifelong passion for helping communities—long before I ever knew the word “entrepreneurship.” I am the third of four sisters, alongside Doris, Sairymar, and Joenith, each of whom I cherish and love deeply.

I studied Business Administration and Mathematics at the University College of Mayagüez and began selling from home at the age of 16, managing product lines for brands such as Gatsby and Mary Kay. Those early experiences instilled in me leadership, discipline, and resilience. In 1998, when Hurricane Georges struck Puerto Rico, I lost everything—including all my merchandise and even the personal belongings of my three children.

In 2003, I made the decision to move to the United States. I began my career in the Collections Department at Metris Bank, where I earned Employee of the Month in my very first month after training and quickly advanced into leadership—first as a Manager and then as a Skills Quality Trainer. When the company’s Orlando operations closed, I transitioned into a new chapter. In 2011, I relocated to Deltona and joined Chase, where I worked in Quality Assurance, Vendor Management, Audits, and the Policies & Procedures Department, while also contributing to special projects in IT. Those years sharpened my systems thinking, risk awareness, and people leadership.

By 2018, I felt it was time to embrace entrepreneurship full-time. That is when I founded Le’Tif Financial Solutions, initially as a credit consulting firm. Around that same time, I also led a large direct-sales team in the FARMASI beauty and wellness space, achieving Gold Director, managing 600+ partners, winning a car bonus, and even earning a trip to Turkey.

In that same year, I also joined MyEcon, under the mentorship of Diosnedy Pelegrín, and I founded MyEcon Libertad Financiera en Español, pioneering the Latino market within the company. Through this initiative, we provided financial education to the Hispanic community—teaching families how to correct their W-4 forms, eliminate debt faster, rebuild their credit, and begin investing. That experience strengthened my passion for guiding people toward financial freedom and stability, particularly within Spanish-speaking communities.

Spanish is my first language, and because of that I deeply understand the challenges faced by people who speak only one language or who have had to move to the United States and experience the impact of the language barrier. That is why my work is rooted in the Latino community. My main focus has been to support Hispanic entrepreneurs who often need double the guidance when starting their businesses, and I feel incredibly proud of the commerce and resilience of our community.

Shortly after, I discovered TSG ProAdvisor. What began as professional development to strengthen my own businesses—Le’Tif Boutique and GQ Revolution—quickly evolved into a true calling. I advanced to the role of Business Coach and now mentor a nationwide team of nearly 50 tax preparers, while actively contributing to a hands-on academy that equips new professionals to launch and grow their own businesses in the tax industry.

Through these experiences, I became recognized as a Tax Expert, Commercial Inspector, Legal Documents Preparer, ordained minister, and Florida Notary Public—all roles that reflect my commitment to serving families, businesses, and communities with excellence and integrity.

Beyond Le’Tif Financial Solutions, I also founded GQ Revolution, which focuses on supporting small businesses and local commerce through promotion and community events. In addition, I created GQ Foundation of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to serving families in need across Florida, Puerto Rico, and even internationally. Some of our current projects include Hope Forest Academy, church missions in partnership with Iglesia Ágape in Osteen, FL, Mac Ministry, and other community initiatives close to my heart.

Above all, I am a proud and grateful mother of five. My youngest, Carlos Adrián, is five years old, and I have embraced the blessing of homeschooling him. For me, it is deeply meaningful to show that it is possible to be a devoted mother, a supportive wife, and a dedicated businesswoman, while still creating the space to provide the kind of education that best nurtures our child. This journey fills my heart with pride, joy, and purpose. And in this beautiful balance of motherhood and entrepreneurship, I have never walked alone—my husband, Carlos Alexis Genaro, has been a true pillar. He is more than a life partner; he is my greatest encourager, always lifting me up when I doubted myself, sharing ideas, and walking beside me through every project and adventure. A significant part of my success belongs to him.

Ultimately, my success has never been mine alone. I owe so much to my community—my neighbors in Deltona, the Latino community across Central Florida, and even supporters from other states who connected with me through social media without ever meeting me in person. Local entrepreneurs have placed their trust in me, and as I’ve worked to help them gain visibility and recognition, they have given their support in return. Among them are my best friend, Luis Ángel Cordovés, a tax preparer and notary who stands with me at Le’Tif Financial Solutions; my dear friend Vanessa Balous, owner of Deltona Wellness Spa, who cares for my health, wellness, and beauty; and my friend Joanie Serpa, owner of JS Nicole, who ensures I always feel confident with my hair. Their support goes far beyond friendship—it is a powerful example of how true collaboration and community create lasting success.

This journey has been defined by resilience, faith, and mutual growth. If there is one lesson my story carries, it is that challenges can be transformed into opportunities—and with perseverance, family, and community, anything is possible.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. Like many immigrant women, I faced significant challenges when I first moved from Puerto Rico to the United States. I arrived in 2003 during a separation, with three young children, practically no money in my pocket, and no place to live. In that difficult moment, my sister Sairymar Quiles opened her doors and gave me a hand during my transition. With her support, and a lot of determination, within a year I was able to buy my first apartment, purchase a car, and secure a stable job. That season taught me that resilience, faith, and family support can turn even the hardest moments into stepping stones.

On a personal level, I was also diagnosed with lupus at a young age. Living with a chronic illness changes your perspective—you learn to adapt, to listen to your body, and to turn what feels like a weakness into an inspiration for others. It has been a reminder that our challenges do not define us; how we rise from them does.

Of course, there were also the day-to-day struggles: balancing motherhood with multiple children, working full time, and later building businesses of my own. Add to that the language barrier when I first arrived, and it often felt overwhelming. But I want other women, especially mothers, to know that it is possible. You can start from zero, even with kids depending on you, even with health challenges, and still build a better future.

Every obstacle—whether personal, professional, or health-related—has pushed me to grow stronger, more empathetic, and more determined to help others believe in their own potential.

We’ve been impressed with Le’Tif Financial Solutions LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
here are many meaningful ways people can support and collaborate with me, each contributing to a broader ripple of impact. One of the simplest—yet most powerful—ways is by sharing our publications and helping us spread the word. Visibility matters: every post shared, every recommendation given, allows more people to learn about the services we provide and the community projects we champion. This kind of organic advocacy ensures that individuals, families, and small businesses who may need support actually discover the resources available to them.

Collaboration also comes through connection. By introducing us to valuable contacts, networks, or resources, you help open doors for small business owners, families, and individuals who often need that extra bridge to succeed. Whether it is a referral, a partnership, or simply extending an introduction, these connections are powerful catalysts for growth and change.

Another profound way to collaborate is by joining us in supporting our nonprofit, GQ Foundation of Hope. Through the foundation, we provide direct aid to families, invest in youth initiatives, and respond to community needs across Florida, Puerto Rico, and beyond. Every form of support—whether volunteering time, contributing resources, or serving as an advocate—multiplies the impact of our mission and allows us to extend hope where it is needed most.

Community collaboration also flourishes through GQ Revolution, our platform dedicated to promoting and uplifting local businesses. We organize events, create networking opportunities, and lead initiatives that showcase the strength of small business owners. We welcome everyone to connect with us through our Facebook group, Desde Deltona – GQ Revolution Network, which has become a vibrant hub for entrepreneurs and community members to share opportunities, resources, and mutual support.

And, of course, collaboration also takes place directly through Le’Tif Financial Solutions LLC. Every client who trusts us with their taxes, business services, or document needs is not just investing in their own future—they are also fueling our ability to give back. Each transaction sustains a cycle of service, empowering us to continue supporting families, entrepreneurs, and communities.

In short, whether through sharing, connecting, volunteering, partnering, or becoming a client, every act of collaboration builds something greater than ourselves. Together, we create a legacy of resilience, empowerment, and hope. “Juntos Somos Más Fuertes”.
