Hi Luis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I emigrated from Venezuela at 25, looking for a better future and professional growth. I went to live in Sydney, Australia and began to work and train in construction, opening my own company there. After finishing my studies, I came to live in the United States, where I continued in the remodeling area. I also associated with a great partner specialist in the area and designer. We work mainly in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At first, the language was the strongest while growing up at work; however, studying English in Australia helped me enormously to emerge. Then coming to the United States to start again and make myself known was another challenge since beginning in another country takes work. However, I had to be constant, give my best, and make my work known.
As you know, we’re big fans of L.M. Renovations. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
I specialize in home renovations, especially in enhancing old or deteriorated areas in the home. We work on many new constructions that want to enhance the home’s beauty to give light, beauty, and quality to areas the client wishes to restore. Our forte is the elaboration of a wall accent. We also renovate laundry rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and any space in the home, and floor upgrades with laminate and hardwood installation. We provide quality work with professionalism, punctuality, speed, and affordable costs to ensure the client is delighted. I like to talk to clients, show their work done, and give them personalized suggestions according to their needs.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Honestly, what has worked best for me is the same satisfied customers who have recommended me and opened the way. And concerning the promotion and photography advice, there is a redcazty, who has helped me a lot in improving the marketing of my services.
