Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm Mensah.
Hi Malcolm, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started four years ago when I first went vegan, I would host a small dinner with friends called “Migos Monday” where we would get together to cook and enjoy and new vegan dish. After many Monday’s when had discovered some of our favorite plant-based recipes like cauliflower wings, jackfruit ribs, sweet potato Mac and cheese just to name a few. I knew immediately that this soulful goodness need to be shared with rest of Orlando, Thus giving life to Aint Got No Beef.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We’ve come a long way but it always hasn’t been a smooth road. When we first starting off, we were completely clueless as to what it took to do a pop-up. Our first event, we had a fryer and small griddle, our fryer kept tripping the generator and we had run out of food in the first hour. Happy to say now we have the appropriate equipment to support our style of cooking and we prepare more than enough food to serve tons of people at pop-ups.

Ain’t Got No Beef “is good food you ain’t got problem with” we specialize in vegan soul food, well known for our seitan “No Beef Rib” we offer a variety of services such as catering, meal prep and private chef services. We have been on the pop-up basis for the last two years. I am happy to say at the end of October, we will be available for pickup and delivery but you can always see us at the Orlando Vegan market every first and third Wednesday and Sunday.
