Inspiring Conversations with Marina Joseph of Sunshine State Property Ventures

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marina Joseph.

Marina Joseph

Hi Marina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Marina Joseph and I’m the founder and CEO of Sunshine State Property Ventures. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to the US at the age of 18. I started my journey in Real Estate Investment in 2013, and I have tried many different strategies. I started out by owning rentals in Florida to have passive income. Then I found my true passion in fix and flip investments.
I am an artist at heart, having worked in the Hollywood entertainment industry for several years, so property rehabbing allowed me to include my creativity and design skills to my real estate work.
I am a hands-on investor and after many personal successful fix and flip projects, I decided it was time to share my knowledge with other people. That’s where Sunshine State Property Ventures comes in.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although property rehabbing is almost never a smooth road, my real estate career has been smooth for the most part. One of my biggest struggles to this day is navigating the rehab and construction world as a woman. Luckily, I was able to partner with great professionals that make the work easier and fun, no matter the gender!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Sunshine State Property Ventures, we specialize in transforming real estate opportunities into valuable assets. Our expertise in fix and flip projects and new construction, combined with a strategic approach to real estate investments, allows us to bring new life to properties across the state of Florida. Our mission at Sunshine State Property Ventures is to transform properties into valuable homes and communities. We are dedicated to revitalizing neighborhoods through high-quality renovation and construction, and smart real estate investments. By embracing innovation, sustainability, and integrity, we aim to create spaces where people thrive, and investors succeed. Our commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and community growth guides every project we undertake.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest advice is to keep going. The first year for any real estate agent is hard. Don’t expect to make much money. Use this time to learn as much as you can and meet prospective clients. Find good mentors. Trust your instincts and know that it gets better!
