Today we’d like to introduce you to Raul Camargo.
Hi Raul, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am the owner of Camargo Custom Prints & Designs. Throughout my life, I always had big dreams and goals I wanted to accomplish. But after I graduated high school, I worked at several 9-5 jobs but I never felt like I was reaching any of my goals and they slowly started fading away. Through many failed attempts and past mistakes, I am blessed to say I had another opportunity at life, not only did I owe it to my family and friends but to myself as well. And that’s where the idea of starting a custom t-shirt business started, but not just any t-shirt business. I wanted to create a unique business with new ideas and concepts that are able to connect to the liking and needs of customers and their unique ideas.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all, it actually took several years of life experiences for me to finally realize there’s more to life. As well as getting back on track to accomplish the dreams I once had as a child. Being blessed to still be alive and having a chance at life to do things correctly was motivation itself. Business-wise it hasn’t been a smooth road either, being able to stay motivated and determined everyday even when things aren’t looking well for your business takes great discipline. But over time the hard work, late nights, and all the sacrifices made start paying off.

Here at Camargo Custom Prints & Design, we specialize in making Custom products such as T-Shirts, Mugs, decals and much more! Whether it’s for personal use or business purposes. What makes us known is the wide variety of customizable products and services we have to provide, whether it’s t-shirts, tumblers, puzzle sets to window and vehicle decal designs for businesses.
One of the things that set us apart is that we are always looking for new ideas and services to provide for everyone and their needs. Being able to customize and personalize items that no one had any idea it could be done is our motivation to keep helping others and their needs.
Brand wise, we are proud of the amount of customers who have trusted us in bringing their ideas to us so we can bring to life, as well as being able to provide our best quality work to everyone.
Our brand and services will always revolve and specialize in giving back to our community that has allowed us to grow. Whether it’s providing great service and quality work to volunteering and giving back through raffles, donations, and much more!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Don’t let any negative thoughts or comments affect your goals in life. Whatever you wish to accomplish stay disciplined and determined even when things may get a bit rough. All the late nights and sacrifices that you make in order to reach your goal will show results sooner or later.
If there is anything I wish I knew when I was starting is to just be grateful for everything in life, especially family and those who support you in your journey.
