Inspiring Conversations with Sevarrest Allen of Kitchen Savior Inc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sevarrest Allen

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The story starts with me getting laid off from a corp job. Attending culinary school (Le Cordon Bleu Orlando) on a suggestion made by my wife. While there not only did I get classically trained in French cuisine I was also taught how to network. Those networking skills along with the career services dept of Le Cordon Bleu Orlando helped me land several gigs & my first real culinary job Epcot Food & Wine Festival (Walt Disney Company). From Disney I developed into a pretty decent chef. I got the urge to be my own boss & start my own personal chef/ catering company (Kitchen Savior)

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been smooth. There were several struggles such as acquiring consistent business/clients. Also not knowing how to market a business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Kitchen Savior Inc?
You should know that Kitchen Savior though not advertised as one but it’s 100% a faith based business & what I mean when I say that is that every bit of success I’ve had is all due to my faith & belief in God. As far as what I do…well I provide a unique service that includes custom menus, free 1hr consultations, in home & delivery services. What sets me apart would be my food knowledge, my ability to make my clients feel like they’re apart of my family. Brand wise I’m most proud of being having a couple professional athletes as clients & being featured in a museum back in May of 2021. The readers should know that Kitchen Savior is all about the client. From custom menus to special dietary needs. Kitchen Savior offers meal prep weekly & monthly. Also catering for small events & cooking classes/demos.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was what most would call the class clown but the word “clown” is a bit negative to me. So let’s call me the class entertainer. I was a typical kid loved being outside & playing sports football & basketball be specific.
