Hi Sherri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a single mom and divorcee, the odds were stacked against me not to succeed. I challenged those odds and overcame them with great success by building a business from scratch and doubling my salary one month after leaving my career as an officer. I want to help other women bosses out there take a chance on their dreams by building their financial confidence.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. I always wanted to be my own boss but I was not always comfortable taking the leap to pursue my dreams for the business ideas that I had until when my son passed out from school one day due to an asthma attack, It is when I decided to be present for him and took the bold step to pursue my business ideas with urgency.
