Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephany Serrano
Stephany , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
5 years ago I lived with my husband and two children in Puerto Rico, there we were both nurses but due to the Covid pandemic the working conditions were difficult and they began to cut us off from work. We cannot afford our necessities and we suggest giving ourselves a chance in Florida. In two weeks we managed to sell everything we had in PR and traveled to Florida in search of better opportunities.
It was extremely difficult because we had a 2-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy and we were both nurses. Florida quickly gave us work but they were 12-hour jobs and it was very sad to have to leave the 2-year-old girl in day care for 12 hours. It was really sad.
We continued working and in 6 months we already had our own house. Then decided to change my life and started studying aesthetic medicine and now I am about to open my new beauty salon in Saint Cloud called Galactic Beauty. Our mission is to promote self-love through beauty.
I think we can see each other in a more loving way. I am 32 years old and I got pregnant at 15 years old. My father addicted to drugs and my mother in severe depression.
I believe that we are all capable of achieving great things but the most important thing is to find ourselves. Find the kindness, humility and love that is in all of us because this is what truly makes us great. When we know what we are, we are sure that all the challenges are there for our evolution and that they are necessary for growth. I live eternally grateful because everything I try to live because thanks to this I can see with love.
Be grateful for every setback, every failure, every pain, every sadness, be grateful for everything because all of that is there just to teach you.
10 years ago I barely had anything to eat. Now I have created a great personal brand full of value, with a work team of 12 employees and this is just beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was a path full of challenges. My first challenge was getting pregnant at 15 years old. Living with an addicted father and a depressed mother. Study, work and have a child at that young age. After I had stability I had to leave everything and sell it to come to Florida in search of better opportunities. Leaving my 2-year-old daughter at day care for 12 hours.

I have created Galactic Beauty, a health and beauty center with the aim of promoting self-love through beauty. Galactic beauty is a beauty salon that offers aesthetic medical services from Dr. Gallego who is the medical director. I am a nurse specializing in aesthetic medicine. On the outskirts of galactic we also have spa, stylist, eyebrow, eyelash, manicure and pedicure services. Galactic is the largest health and beauty center that combines everything in one place. We are opening September 20th at 1423 belladonna Place Saint Cloud FL 34771.
