Today we’d like to introduce you to Viviana Solano

Hi Viviana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am originally from Costa Rica, and my family relocated to the United States when I was 12 years old. Since then, I have resided in the Central Florida area. From a young age, I have been driven and ambitious, with a lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others.

I began my professional journey in the food and beverage industry at the age of 15, where I discovered my talent for cultivating genuine relationships. As a people-oriented individual, I knew that any career path I pursued would be centered around building and maintaining meaningful relationships.

Coming from a family that venerates hard work, I have always approached my goals with diligence and enthusiasm. My experience as an immigrant has ingrained in me a deep appreciation for the sacrifices my parents made to bring us to the United States. This understanding has motivated me to earn my success and focus on uplifting my community to create a better future for those around me.

In 2012, I married my amazing and supportive husband, Luciano Ramirez. Together, we have ventured into various business endeavors, including operating an Amazon store and a trucking and logistics company. We have always believed that business ownership is a critical pathway to achieving the American Dream.

I embarked on my career in finance in 2021 when I joined Northwestern Mutual. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving my community through roles in charitable and community organizations. Additionally, I have been honored to present strategies to our entire company, aimed at elevating our district to national recognition.

My objective for the coming year is to continue making a positive impact on my community by offering financially sound solutions tailored to address my clients’ needs. By providing customized plans to each family, business owner, and professional I engage with, I am confident that my goal of improving the quality of life for those around me will be fully realized.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the challenges I faced was that I did not have a legal status for a very long time. This prevented me from being able to work legally and go to school. This was before DACA, and there really wasn’t much I could do regarding my status.
Fortunately, once I fixed my status, I was able to go back to school, begin to work legally, and ultiumately pursue business ownership.
The first business I was fully in charge of was the trucking and logistics company my husband and I had. It was a brand new industry for me, and a new way of relating to people. The margins were not that great, and ultimately we made the decision to close the business down and sell the equipment. It was the first time I ever felt like a failure, but looking back, it was ultimately a good decision.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I run a financial planning practice in partnership with Northwestern Mutual.
We believe in the power of comprehensive financial planning to create secure and prosperous futures for our clients. Our approach is rooted in understanding each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances, allowing us to tailor personalized financial plans that cover a full spectrum of life’s financial aspects. I love helping my clients navigate their current financial landscape – from helping them understand their cashflow, to discussing future goals like creating generational wealth or retiring early.
Our commitment goes beyond mere financial products. We prioritize long-term relationships, working alongside our clients through every life stage. By integrating wealth management, risk management, and financial planning, we ensure that every facet of our clients’ financial lives is addressed with precision and care.
Through our steadfast dedication to client education, we empower individuals and families to make informed financial decisions. We are not just managing wealth; we are building lasting legacies and delivering peace of mind, knowing that every financial decision is strategically aligned with our clients’ aspirations for the future.

I plan on continuing to grow my pracitice and empower my clients to build a better financial future for themselves and their families.
Financial education is the first step in the journey that needs to be undertaken to reach financial confidence and success. I love working as a coach and mentor to my clients, and my goal is to continue to do that for as long as I am able.
