Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Lyndsey Vanpool of Polk County Florida

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Lyndsey Vanpool. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Lyndsey, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of planning and designing events lately I’ve been enjoying the summer with my family! I’ve been enjoying the sunshine and water, taking my kids to the pool and water parks, enjoying just the simple things! Family is super important to me so when I’m not working I’m spending time with them!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi guys I’m Lyndsey owner and designer at Dream Chaser Events LLC. I started this journey in 2014 and have been a full time business owner now since 2019. My business specializes in decor, planning and creating amazing moments that our clients will remember forever! I’ve been blessed to use my talent as my career! Dream Chaser Events has planned numerous occasions from birthdays to weddings we offer unique ideas, rentals and details! I personally am a balloon artist and florist as well so all designs are done in house which makes it super easy and affordable for our clients! I love to say we are a one stop shop for your event needs.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I believe in loyalty and once those bonds are broken it’s really hard to make things right again. Trust is important in all aspects of life personal and business without that your relationships have nothing. To restore bonds it takes work fr both sides and having the same morals and goals.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I literally have a tattoo that says “trust your struggles” and I believe it 100 percent! The things that we go through shape us and teach us resilience! If you notice people who have gone through the most tend to be the most self sufficient, independent, leaders, bosses! I’m thankful for all the things I’ve gone through I wouldn’t be me without those times, I’m strong because of them. Success that’s just given teaches nothing success that’s earned teaches you EVERYTHING!

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I think my closest friends would say my family and business really matter to me! I pour into my family and my business the most! I will miss any outing for my kids or my business! My friends are also important to me so I guess they would say most important in general are the PEOPLE I LOVE!

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say Lyndsey was giving, loving and caring! Lyndsey was a hard worker and a dreamer but she also gave back. Lyndsey loved kids and would be a part of almost any event that involved giving back to them! Lyndsey was amazing at what she did and gave it her all. She was a good person with a big heart, I would only hope that’s what people would say.
