Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Rodriguez.  

Hi Adrienne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
So, it started roughly 4 years ago when I had my daughter. I had a friend offer to document her birth, and being a first-time mom, I had no clue how birth was going to be. So, in fear of the unknown, I politely declined her offer. The birth was empowering, and the support I had through it all was definitely something worth documenting. The minute the nurses placed my daughter on my chest, it was an Instant regret she wasn’t there. I have literally 3 photos from the day my daughter was born, and none of them depict the emotions and strength showcased that day. From then on, all I could think of was birth photography and how more women deserved this day to be something they could look back on. In 2020, I decided to open up my business as a birth photographer. 3 years later, I’ve documented over 10 births and now offer both photos and film. It’s truly my greatest honor to be able to provide these mamas with these photos and videos to look back on. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, in no way has this been easy. I launched my specialty in birth photography in Jan of 2020, documented my first birth in Feb, and then the world shut down in March. Due to restrictions with the number of visitors and support people at birth, it was hard for me to find families that wanted birth photography. 2021 is when things picked back up. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a birth photographer based out of Deltona, Fl. I specialize in birth photography and film and also offer maternity, newborn, and seasonal mini sessions exclusive to my families.
