Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Jennings.
Hi Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Thirteen years ago, my oldest daughter was able to make a wish with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She made a wish to go to Walt Disney World. We stayed at Give Kids the World during our visit and attended Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios. We had the time of our lives! It was truly magical, and during that trip, I fell in love with Disney. I had begun to consider how I could help other families have those same magical moments that we did. A dream was put in my heart to become a travel advisor specializing in Disney vacations, but at the time, all 3 of my girls were younger, and we homeschooled. That took up the majority of my time. In the spring of 2021, I stepped away from a full-time office job that wasn’t fulfilling. I decided to take a leap of faith, commit to living out that dream seeded in my heart for several years, and become a travel agent. I’ve since helped many families create those same memories with one another and become Disney lovers just like me! I firmly believe that everyone can create their own happily ever after and that dreams are worth pursuing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a small business owner, the most challenging part has been getting the word out about the travel planning services I offer. Just building up my client base takes time. It’s the nature of the game. My business has grown mostly through word of mouth & referrals. I am incredibly grateful to my friends, family, & clients for passing my name along to their family & friends! My wish is for everyone to use a travel advisor when planning and booking their trips, even if they are knowledgeable about the destination. Using a travel advisor is already included in the price of a vacation, whether you use one or not, so why not use a travel advisor? This allows you to not only support your small local business, but also have a friend in your corner if something unexpected happens or your travel plans change.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am considered an independent contractor, working under the umbrella of my host agency, Never Look Back Vacations. I specialize in Disney, Universal, Cruise, All-Inclusive vacations, and general hotel stays. I am most proud of my ability to connect with my clients. I love to keep in touch with my clients through email or social media. I love seeing their families in everyday life, not just on vacation! What sets me apart from others in the same field is the strong desire for my clients to have the same magical experience that my family had on our first family vacation to central Florida. I put myself in their shoes and listen to their needs & wants. With the right tools, tips, and planning resources I offer, I can set my clients up to have an enjoyable vacation.

I am 100% about taking risks! It makes life exciting! We have taken many family risks, such as homeschooling and moving across the country three times for work. We decided we wanted to raise our girls to experience this beautiful country rather than just reading about it or watching a show on tv about it. As a family, we have lived in Oregon, California, South Carolina, and Florida. Our most recent risk was moving to the central Florida region. We took a leap of faith with my husband switching to a different company, but we could also be here so that I could grow my business. It has been one of the best moves we have made yet! It turns out we are a Florida family through and through!
