Today we’d like to introduce you to Blake Guyre.
Blake, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Blake Guyre is a dynamic full-time entertainer based in Orlando,
Florida, known for delivering high-energy performances that engage
audiences of all ages. His impressive performance résumé includes
appearances at major state fairs, special events for NASCAR, the
Baltimore Ravens, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Blake has also been
featured twice as a solo entertainer for both pre-game and halftime
performances for the Orlando Magic, showcasing his ability to captivate
large crowds in high-profile settings.
Blake launched his professional career performing as a dueling pianist at
Universal Studios’ Pat O’Brien’s and as the renowned “Strolling Piano”
performer at Disney Springs. These experiences helped him develop an
exceptional ability to read a room, connect with audiences, and create
unforgettable entertainment experiences. With a repertoire of well over
1,500 songs spanning everything from 1950s classics to today’s biggest
hits, Blake brings versatility, professionalism, and crowd-pleasing energy
to every performance. Whether entertaining guests at a corporate event,
theater, festival, private function, or cruise ship, Blake consistently
delivers a memorable show that keeps audiences engaged from the first
song to the last.
I began playing piano at 7 years old, and performing as a career at 14. From small pubs and restaurants to the big stage at fairs, festivals and half time shows, I enjoy every moment of what I do – bringing smiles to everyone’s faces, and bringing everyone together through music.
After Graduating highschool, I went full time into music. I worked for years up in the villages, performing the squares and countless restaurants or bars. I got a break when I auditioned for universal studios and Disney, getting hired at both venues! This changed my career significantly; giving me the chance to improve my act and perform in front of enormous crowds. This is where I truly fell in love with what I do – giving people a reason to smile and sing along.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There’s been many challenges along the way – a desire for something larger when the hard work doesn’t seem to pay off, opportunities falling through that would change my career and life forever, and many more obstacles through the years. In this line of work, you have to be courageous… but also push through and pick yourself back up, even when your goals and dreams seem to be the impossible. Focusing on making each and every person happy and being completely myself has brought me immense joy in what I do, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a pianist and singer, as well as the owner of Blake Guyre Productions and Shellshocked Pianos, a piano shell and dueling piano company. I have been entertaining crowds since the age of 14, playing requests of all kinds! I specialize in bringing a high energy show to each and every crowd. I have multiple headline shows for fairs, festivals, and cruise lines that I’ve invested countless hours into, including a Billy Joel and Elton John show with full costuming and special effects. I also work with universal studios as a dueling pianist, and at Disney springs on the strolling piano – driving around the streets and bringing the music to the people!
I believe my energy sets me apart from others – I try to give 100 percent at every show, going above and beyond to leave the best possible impression on each and every audience member.
How do you define success?
I used to believe that success was defined by fame and fortune, but I’ve come to realize it’s defined by my happiness, and my faith. If I can live my life selflessly for God and other people, I believe I’m doing it right. My goal in life is to impact as many people as I can, and bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
