Life & Work with Charelisse Negron of Four corners

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charelisse Negron

Hi Charelisse, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since I was around 10 years old, I used to make my mom buy me the magazine named TU every month and they had a section where they added a picture of a makeup and then instructions on the bottom. I used to follow them and create the makeup looks with my mom’s makeup. That is how my love for makeup tutorials started. With the years passing it evolved into me creating the tutorials now on social media and giving classes.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everyone has their struggles and I am no different. Mine has been trying to grow my social media and get new clients when I moved here from Puerto Rico.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have a passion for teaching and learn new things. I feel grateful to be part of a bride’s special day and that my job as a makeup artist makes them feel beautiful and confident. I strive for a excellent customer service, I always take their inputs and recommendations to make sure they feel comfortable and happy with my work. Sometimes I even helped them get dressed when they have no one else and I never charge for that!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Yes! If you have a dream and you think you should give up. Keep working hard for what you want and be consistent. Always adapt to change and learn new things.
