Life & Work with Cristina Gonzalez of Altamonte Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Gonzalez.

Cristina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Creating has always been my passion. I started with my own ideas. I had a sportswear line. I love working with stretchy fabrics. But aside from that, I felt the need to do other things. So, I started offering clothing package services, incorporating the entire development process for a small collection.
So, I began to strengthen this service, and I realized there was a huge need for people who wanted to make their dream of creating commercial projects a reality.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I had to learn that clear communication is the key to success for my projects. I face a huge challenge because my entrepreneurs aren’t designers. Getting the project done requires a process that goes from understanding the design to its functionality.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am creative with a high level of understanding to be able to process different types of projects from different categories from accessories to clothing.
These points allow me to understand my client, communicate, and process their ideas so I can make them a reality.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In my daily experience, I can clearly see that there has been an increase in the number of entrepreneurs to create clothing lines more practical and functional concepts, where the costs are very affordable for the community, and with simple designs.

The ease of AI allows these new generations to contribute their ideas at a very fast pace, without going to a Fashion school and learning how to be designers, they only need the concept of marketing applications and an agency that can understand their ideas and approach to their project.
