Elijah Stewart

Hi Elijah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2020, during one of the most uncertain times in modern history, _worldofelijah was born. The world had slowed down, but my passion for love, positivity, acceptance, theme parks, and fashion only grew stronger. What started as a simple Instagram page quickly became a beacon of light not just for me but for so many others who craved a sense of connection and joy during the pandemic.

From the very beginning, my mission was clear: to create a space that radiates warmth and inclusivity. Love and positivity have always been at the heart of everything I do, and _worldofelijah became my way of spreading that energy. Whether it was sharing my favorite fashion looks, capturing magical moments at theme parks, or simply offering words of encouragement, I wanted my page to be a reminder that happiness and self-expression should always be celebrated.

The Disney community is the family I never knew I needed quickly embraced me with open arms. Their unwavering love and support turned my passion into something even bigger than I could have imagined. They cheered me on, uplifted me, and reminded me why I started in the first place. Through every post, every interaction, and every magical memory, my Disney fam has been my biggest source of inspiration.

Staying consistent in content creation isn’t always easy, but knowing that my work brings joy to others makes it all worth it. My Disney fam motivates me every single day to keep pushing forward, to keep creating, and to keep spreading the love.

Today, _worldofelijah is more than just an Instagram page it’s a movement, a safe space, and a reflection of everything I stand for. I’m so grateful for this journey, for the incredible support I’ve received, and for the endless possibilities ahead. The magic isn’t just in the parks, it’s in the people, the love, and the community we’ve built together. And this is only the beginning.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building _worldofelijah has been an incredible journey, but it hasn’t been without its challenges. From the beginning, I knew that sharing my love for positivity, acceptance, theme parks, and fashion would open the door to both support and criticism. While my Disney fam has been my rock, there have always been naysayers, the people who doubted my vision, questioned my authenticity, or simply didn’t understand what I was trying to create.

At times, their negativity made me second-guess myself. It’s never easy putting yourself out there, only to be met with judgment. But through it all, I reminded myself why I started: to spread love, to create a safe space, and to bring joy to others. The more people tried to bring me down, the more determined I became to prove that kindness and authenticity will always shine brighter than doubt.

The hardest challenge of all came in 2022 when my grandmother passed away. Losing her was devastating. She was a source of love and wisdom in my life, and there were moments when I felt lost without her. Creating content while grieving was one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to do. But in those dark times, my Disney fam showed up for me in ways I’ll never forget. Their love and encouragement reminded me that I wasn’t alone, and that _worldofelijah wasn’t just about me, it was about the community we built together.

Through every obstacle, I’ve learned that challenges don’t define us, how we rise above them does. Despite the setbacks, despite the heartache, I’ve continued to create, to share, and to grow. And every time I do, I know my grandmother is watching over me, proud of how far I’ve come.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For 11 years, Disney was my home. It was more than just a job, it was a place where I could bring magic to life, where dreams weren’t just imagined but made real. Throughout my career, I had the incredible opportunity to perform at Walt Disney World, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Disneyland Paris. Each experience was unique, filled with unforgettable moments, new cultures, and the joy of creating memories for guests from all over the world.

Working for Disney shaped me in so many ways. It taught me the power of storytelling, the importance of guest experience, and the magic that comes from making people feel special. But after more than a decade, I knew it was time for a new chapter. Two months ago, I made the difficult decision to step away from the company. Change is never easy, especially when leaving behind something that has been such a huge part of your life.

That’s when Marriott came into my life, and from the very beginning, it felt like the perfect fit. Now, as a Guest Experience Expert, I get to continue doing what I love which is creating memorable experiences, making guests feel valued, and bringing warmth and hospitality to every interaction. Marriott has not only welcomed me with open arms but has also given me opportunities to grow and feel appreciated in ways I never expected.

These past two months have been nothing short of incredible. Marriott has shown me a new kind of magic, the magic of belonging, of being supported, and of knowing that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. I will always cherish my time at Disney, but I’m beyond excited for this new journey and everything the future holds.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I can still remember the very first time I stepped foot into Magic Kingdom as a kid the moment that changed everything for me. The excitement was overwhelming, my heart racing as I passed through the gates, unsure of what to expect but knowing deep down that I was about to experience something truly magical.

And then, as if it were a dream, there she was Snow White. She stood right at the main entrance, looking as if she had stepped straight out of a storybook. I froze in awe, unable to believe my eyes. With the sweetest smile, she knelt down to my level, took my hand, and greeted me as if we had always known each other. In that moment, nothing else in the world existed just me, Snow White, and the promise of adventure.

She didn’t just say hello and send me on my way. No, she did something even more magical, she took my hand and walked with me around Town Square. Every step felt like I was part of a fairy tale. As we strolled together, she pointed out all the wonders around us , the charming shops, the old-fashioned vehicles, the Dapper Dans singing in the distance. But then, as we rounded the corner, she stopped and turned to me with a sparkle in her eye.

“Are you ready to see the castle?” she asked.

I nodded, barely able to contain my excitement. She gently turned me forward, and there it was Cinderella Castle, standing tall and beautiful at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. It was even more breathtaking than I had imagined, a real-life fantasy come to life right before my eyes.

Snow White squeezed my hand and looked at me with the kindest expression. “One day,” she said, “you’ll be skipping down Main Street, U.S.A. with me.”

That moment stayed with me forever. As a child, it felt like a dream, a wish upon a star that I hoped would come true. Little did I know then just how much Disney would become a part of my life, shaping my future in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

Looking back now, after all my years performing at Disney, I realize she was right. I did skip down Main Street, U.S.A. many times, in fact. And every time I did, I thought of that little kid holding Snow White’s hand, seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time, and believing with all their heart that dreams really do come true.
