Today we’d like to introduce you to Harmony And Caleb Taylor.
Hi Harmony and Caleb, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In a world where skincare and beauty are often dominated by adults, siblings Harmony and Caleb have carved out a space of their own—turning passion into business before even reaching high school.
Harmony, now 17, launched Harmony Gliss in 2020 at just 12 years old. Inspired by her godparents, who own a skincare business, she used the unexpected downtime of the pandemic to create her own lip gloss line. Her journey hasn’t been without challenge. She has a learning disability and has battled two rare chronic illnesses, spending over nine months in hospitals since starting her entrepreneurial journey. Despite this, she has grown her brand to include seven natural skincare products, with more in development.
Her younger brother, Caleb, followed in her footsteps. At only 10, he started Bubba’s Bubblez, creating soaps, bath fizz, and body butter. Now 15 and also dealing with a rare chronic illness of his own; one that requied an 8 hour operation in February of this year, he has expanded his line to include body wash, beard oil, and men’s fragrances, making his mark in a typically adult-dominated industry.
Their mom, Angela, serves as their “momager,” guiding them from passion to profit by helping them develop their brands and bring their vision to life. She sought out events where they could showcase their products, ensuring they had opportunities to connect with customers and grow their businesses. While managing their entrepreneurial journey, she also prioritized balance, making sure they had time for family, church, school and of course fun. One crucial step was ensuring Harmony and Caleb learned the ins and outs of business.
Angela enrolled the teens in minority lead mentor programs in Central Florida for young entrepreneurs. This coupled with their Godparents continued guidance helped them increase their visibility and expand. Their drive, resilience, and business acumen have set them apart as young entrepreneurs proving that age is no barrier to success.
With a shared passion for natural skincare and a commitment to quality, Harmony and Caleb continue to inspire others—showing that with determination, anything is possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Both Harmony and Caleb have rare medical conditions. Symptoms can strike at any time.
The kids were just getting themselves established and vending across Central Florida when Harmony was hospitalized due to cyclic vomiting syndrome in 2022. While she recovered, she would spend the entire summer of 2023 in the hospital and require a feeding tube. Harmony suffered another setback when she sustained a traumatic injury due to a botched surgery that fall. Business had to pause while the families focus shifted to supporting her full time at the hospital then at home while making sure Caleb was still able to attend school and know he was just as much of a priority. Caleb had minor procedures during this time as well. The teens required required regular follow-ups with specialist in Orlando and Gainesville.
Despite these setbacks the kids managed to end 2023, with one of their most successful events and began making plans to shift to an online platform to grow their business.

What sets them apart is that they are fearless and undeterred by the challenges they face. Despite their age they know the importance of sustainable, nature based skin and body care. They understand their target audience and how important it is to offer a healthy alternative to mass produced products with their customers’ health and wellness in mind.
Harmony and Caleb are most proud of the fact that not only have they remained in business despite personal setbacks and economic uncertainty, they continue to expand their lines with products their customers love.
