Today we’d like to introduce you to Jereme & Lina Hall.
Hi Jereme & Lina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are a husband and wife team who have turned their creative minds into this great business of displaying your guitar in a functional yet very appealing way and creating other home decor items. We started out making art & functional home decor. We had a store in downtown Clermont Fl where we developed the product and showcased it for everyone to see.
We soon realized that the guitar frames were a hit so we focused strictly on the guitar frames.
Our motive is to get your guitar off the floor & out of the closet.
If your guitar is out, you are more likely to play it. If it’s a hassle to get out you don’t play it as much.
The frame gives your space that pop of color with art & holds your guitar at the same time while making a statement.
It’s another way of displaying your guitar with art.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a process to learn. What works best for the consumer as well as us. We’ve been doing this for about 9 years. At first, it was a lot getting the word out there because we were creating a new category in the art and music space. Most of the work was done in the beginning getting the website up & learning the best ways to ship. Now we get orders constantly without trying. People find us on Etsy, Pinterest, as well as our website GFrames.com
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are self-taught artists. We started out as commercial & residential painting contractors. The painting led to Faux finish painting. That separated us from all the other painters. We painted things to look like wood & stone & even brick. People were hiring us to paint murals & such.
Since we developed these skills in people’s homes, we decided to do them on a smaller scale to reach people all over the world. Now our art and work has sold all over the globe. We are proud that we were able to sell our storefront and take our business home and work from home. We are proud that we have the ability to control our workflow and do what we love. We are at the point where we don’t even speak to our customers. They buy online,we create each piece as it is ordered and ship the product out to them.
We both have no experience in this or worked for anyone doing anything like this.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Happiness matters most to us. Of course, we want to be successful and bring our product and brand to new heights . But the process of being happy throughout is most important which is easy when you love what you do and others love it too.
